I could be wrong (since I have no experience with LTE), but I think LTE is probably going to handle the weak clients better than 450 is.
I don't see how it couldn't be at least somewhat of a trade-off with throughput, but I think the LTE stuff is optimized a lot better for weak clients than 450 is. I suspect that in a situation where every client is connected to a 450 AP at 1x or 2x, if you switched everything over to LTE, it will work a lot better... but on the other hand, if they're all running at 6x or 8x the 450 is probably going to perform better. I haven't seen any actual pricing for Baicells, but I'm guessing that if you get enough clients per AP it will be cheaper overall than 450.
