Isnt the NLOS performance a direct trade-off vs throughput though? I remember when the Telrad guys were showing this link that was miles away through all these trees connecting in the -80's and they were all excited that it was still pushing 12mbps to that CPE. But at the expense of it was consuming 100% of the AP's total resources (airtime) . So basically just take a 450 AP and run every connected client in 1x or 2x mode and that will be the same thing as trying to push an LTE system to the limits. Am I wrong?
