'Fluid' is not what a redevelopment plan is about. Commitments and
timelines have repeatedly been thrown to the wind. The Public suffers
as a result. Were you at the press conference where MM stated that all
the pavilions will be finished and occupied by Memorial Day ?

That was a huge announcement, huge press, commitments, tenants on
stage with the MM principals. They were 100% certain about it then, the
City and taxpayers were lied to.

No one is jumping the gun on the 5th Avenue Pavilion, just look at it.
It was to be restored, instead its been butchered. The significant
character defining features have been removed and redesigned.

The orange brick, the glass block windows, the concrete
walkways/awnings...etc. are what made the building an architectural
icon. It has been remodeled.

This is not an independent business venture that risks only
its own resourses. The entire City is effected and at risk, this is a
public project, a redevelopment. You need to think outside the
independent business model.

Thats a tall order. The developer is only interested in their bottom
line not generosity to the community. On the other hand the government
does not learn from history and past mistakes in protecting the public.
