I agree you don't need expensive SPDIF cables - $18 from Blue Jeans for 1.5m is fine :-) Even better than relying on ASRC (and I have one in my TACT) is using the DAC clock to drive the transport. Sadly, this gets into some quite complicated mods...(for me anyway) -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
