It is funny, that when you mash your grains, you get a wort that tastes
awfully sweet. Then you boil it with hops, and get something that is
awfully too bitter. Then you ferment it, and wait a while, and suddenly
everything is well balanced.

If you are sure that the beer really is too bitter, you can add that
extract in it. That will make the beer stronger, and balance better with
the bitterness. Theoretically you could also try to hide the bitterness
with some spices, but that is advanced brewing...

Finally, if the beer gets so bitter you don't want to drink it, make
another batch with very few hops, and mix 50-50.

But I guess the stuff will turn out all right.
