yeah , this is correct, thats what ive been talking about :) sorry for what happened in your lab , as this is a CCIE level exam i don't believe "personally" that any Book in the world can give or provide the exam Questions no matter how come the people who wrote the book got the Questions from , i think they can give the way of the Questions in the exam but we really need to have deep understand of how things working in order to avoid/fix just like the one you faced or shared
