I get that too.  I'm on a 3 day split which is really the 5 day split
except I routinely miss 2 days  :(

One weird thing ... on my eat-anything day I used to drink beer.
Then, for various reasons, I missed 2 weeks of beer days.  I found
that on the 3rd day my motivation for just about anything was way up,
as was my attitude.

The scary thing is ... I"m thinking about cutting out sauce ... but I
dunno ... that's a big step ...

BTW - alcohol can decrease you protein uptake by 80% and also slows
fat burning by the same amount.
