You have a college-student diet. You know that, right? How about adding some
beans to your diet - high in protein and in fiber.

Don't laugh, but pre-natal vitamins kick ass. Of course, they might look at
you funny when you buy them.

though.  It is pretty easy to get a good amount of fat in your diet; it
really does not take that much.  You will put on more weight by eating a lot
of quality calories than crap calories anyway.  Carbs are ok, but protein is
what you want for weight gain.  A good multivitamin is a good idea as well.

help you pack on a few pounds of muscle.  Your best bet is weights with
light cardio(cardio reduces testosterone levels/muscle growth rate).  You
can ignore the exercise part of the equation, but you will be hard pressed
to put on any weight, fat or otherwise, without doing do.  Also, you will
probably find that you will eat more if you are working out   I know I eat
like a bird and drop weight if I'm not making it to the gym, but, like
Phillip said, everyone is different.
