@SEZ9 @DanielLeens — the checkpoint failure was already present in parent commit `1650a04cd` and was **not introduced by the Paimon routing changes in #12366**. Controlled parent/head experiments reproduced the same fault-injection timing race in the test. I opened [#12449](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/12449) as an independent test fix, with the root cause and evidence documented there. Targeted validation passed **3/3 runs on Java 8 and 3/3 on Java 11**. This addresses the checkpoint failure specifically; other CI failures are separate. Following [SEZ9’s review direction](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/12301#issuecomment-5724456773), I will maintain the routing implementation and post further code/CI updates in [#12366](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/12366), and will no longer maintain those updates in this PR.
