Well, as usual what you read here is incorrect! I feel that I need to get a few things straight. (1) I did not unsubscribe from the net...wonder who put that out and why??? I only changed my screen name to Coupeclub. Why would someone pick up this thread ?? And who has such knowledge of who is and is not a member??? (2) I asked for help and or volunteers to set up the web page in print and here...NO VOLUNTEERS, Tom was aware of this from the first time I came online. (3) I do not own the Ercoupe Club...It is a nonprofit corporation owned by the members...not me. I serve at the pleasure of the members...I can be replaced ANYTIME and NOW might be a good time...Any Volunteers??
I really don't know what this is all about...I don't even know the people who are so vehement about me. What I was trying to do was to get some idea of what, if any interest was out there, not to start some kind of flap! The only thing that I can figure out is that these two fellows are mad at me because I would not turn Club data over to them so that they could post it on their pages for their own GLORY, which seems to be what this is all about...who can have the best web...and who can be Top Dog, well go to it! I will serve the MEMBERS of The Ercoupe Owners Club as I always have. If the MEMBERS want a new Executive Director the by-laws provide for this and I will GLADLY STEP DOWN! I would like to thank those of you that took the time to reply in my behalf. I have been away this weekend...helping Carolyn get Coupe Capers ready for print. I just found out about this tonight. I think that I have made my position clear on this matter and thank those of you for your understanding. As far as I am concerned the matter is closed.
