OK you guys--now from a womans point of view--I own an 415C Ercoupe not my
husband, just me. When I purchased my "Lady Bug" over 7 years ago I was a
green as a goad, (and that's pretty green). The first thing I did was to
join the EOC. And the second thing I did was to learn to do some mechanic
work (dirty finger nails and all). The Coupe Capers has been a God sent
to
me and other Coupe owners. I did not learn all that I might know now from
the Capers but I did learn that there were many more Coupe owners out
there
like me. I started to get involved with the club and became interested in
helping out where I could. The first thing that I did (and I am glad that
someone higher than me, watches out over my ideas) I ran for the Region 11
directorship. Did not get it but I did learn how big Texas, Arkansas,
Louisana and Oklahoma are--lots of members. So dumb and happy I
volunteered
to be the Arkansas Wing leader. I am saying all of this to say just one
thing--We all love our lil Ercoupe and the people that seems to flock to
this aircraft. We are not perfect in any way, shape, form or fashion. And
we are living in the best times and in the best country there is--So lets
all work together and help when and where we can. We do have a great
thing
going in the Capers and on the internet. I don't say much but I read this
everyday and each and every one of you from VA to WA makes my day. Lets
just all pull together and "keep 'em flying". I will see all of you at
Sun
& Fun.
