1. I think Coupe Capers should continue in hard copy. There are a number of members w/o access to PC's and the internet.
2. Like Dave, Tom and others, I was not particularly happy with the front page of the last issue, and perplexed as to why Skip would devote the space to what appeared to be a rather self-serving diatribe. It appears to me that it may be time for Skip to step aside and let a let a new guard takeover the reins of the EOC. There certainly seems to be a dearth of leadership in this organization at the national level. When I first bought my coupe, it was Dave's webpage that really did an excellent job of steering me to the best resources on the internet which were much more timely than coupe capers. Then, over the last 8-10 months a number of other members have put up excellent sites with a wealth of information available to coupers. So, why Skip would want to put up a vanilla website with boilerplate information when these other sources are available I can only attribute to the NIC syndrome. (Not invented here). I had previously suggested to Skip that maybe we use Tom's website as the primary EOC site with links to other pages that would contain model specific or other topic related information. Needless to say, I have not, as yet, had the courtesy of a response from Skip. Keith Bolte N5663F http://www.pacifier.com/~keithb
