I'm really confused here: I've agreed from the beginning to eliminate what I thought was a reasonable candidate from the running because you had an issue with it, with *no argument whatsoever*. I explained clearly that I don't want to get into a political debate, because I don't think our personal politics have anything to do with what features github has that code.google.com doesn't. Last I checked, I was entitled to my opinions just as much as you are to yours. I really don't get how spouting political rhetoric seemed like it was really going to add to this conversation in any way. This has been an excellent reminder of why I try to avoid getting involved in mailing list threads in the first place -- as always, I regret sending the first email at all.
