Hey Chris,

I looked at both and i like the "confetti" one much more than the "boxy"
one (After the "shuriken" logo, I got used to naming our design proposals -
makes it much easier to talk about them).

One reason is that the "boxy" one looks far more cluttered and distracting.
But I also have a bit deeper reason. I really think we must abstract away
from the current UI. It's not the best (to say the least) - especially if
you want to use terms like "modern", "design", "colors", "accessibility".
As a designer I am sure you will agree with me :).

I can very well see that we will change the way tasks are visualised in the
future UI of Airflow, so if we have the visual components too much tied to
the current UI, we might have to redo the whole website after UI revamp. I
think it's better to have something more abstract, that works well with the
new, modern logo we have (thank you for that BTW - the more I look at it,
the more I like it!).
