I love it. Including the animation. I think we all need a bit of fun in our
work, no matter how serious we are. Even slack has similar animated
background https://slack.com/intl/en-pl/ (and they are pretty serious).

I have just two comments:
- we should show stable released documentation by default not 2.0.0. I know
we are looking at it from contributors point of view, but this page is
mostly for users who use "released" software. And I agree with Deng that
versions should be in reverse chronological order.
- maybe - following recent trends - we should have "dark" mode as well ?
The site is very white .... This is a nice-to-have of course and we can add
it later as well (but maybe it is simple even now :)).
