Greetings Andrew,

At some point, there will be discussion that centers around
administration of individual lists. This is not done by private email
or phone call from one side of the world to the other because that
would then remove such conversation from the public arena. As Sophie
pointed out, that is considered courtesy in opensource projects.

Your post is not helpful at all to the discussion and neither was
Richard's. Neither added anything to the discussion, simply belittled
peoples input into the process which is a tried and true method.
Robust discussion of differences of opinion without flaming is good for
continuing growth.

Linuxgirlies post by contrast added to the discussion without belittling
the process or the people involved.

If you have nothing constructive to add then say nothing.

If such debate offends your senses then delete the thread

Don't belittle either Sophie or Ian or myself for the passion of our
convictions. The passion of our debate is simply a reflection of a
long time working hard for the project over a long period in many areas
that has developed ideas about the management of the project. The fact
that I disagreed with Sophie subtracts nothing from the huge respect I
have for her and her contribution to the greater OOo project.

If you had read the posts you would see that a consensus has been
reached, the system works.

So I say to you: Enough! unless you have something meaningful to add.
