I have the previously colored version of this.  Its a bit fussy to 
configure when one is used to a dual trace 100 MHz scope, but the display 
freeze so you can study at your leisure is worth its weight in bottled 
beer.  Still messing with my lathe, I often have both scopes tied into it 
as the timebase in my now 20 year old Hitachi is off perhaps 5%.  The only 
fault I can point to is the limited bandwidth, 1 MHz will not always catch 
the noisy edges.

But if this is as bad as it sounds, this device shouldn't have any trouble 
showing you that the signal is noisy.

And the price is certainly right.
