Hi Andy and Peter, I did it. :-) It works. My configuration is still a total mess, but I'll clean up tomorrow.
The strange thing is, that the tiny DC motor feels to have more torque than the much bigger BLDCs. I think there is still something wrong with my setup. The BLDCs are 75W, 0.28Nm at 4.7A and I easily make them stall by turning a 20 mm axis with my fingers. Or is this to be expected. Thanks for all the help. Oh and I might need some more. Now that it's done I discovered that I'd like the new axis to behave like a spindle. I'll investigate that tomorrow. Should not be too hard to change this I guess.
