Thank you. It is true that there are no other sections of that length 
in the piece.

To me, Finale assumes wrong -- I *don't* know that at all, because 
who has time to keep track of how many measures there are in each 
section? Who cares? Of what use is that information?

I think it would be more straightforward for the region number to be 
displayed, as long as one is within a defined region.
