I want to thank everyone on the Finale list who recommended the Ricoh 2610
Laser Printer. (This is the black-only laser that prints up to 11x17 paper
that is available for $530 - $580). I just helped my wife pick it out for
me for my Christmas gift - it's great!.
Yeah, I love that printer too. I haven't been so successful doing 2-up printing (two 8-1/2x11 portrait pages of music side by side on an 11x17 sheet) with Finale. This works OK with Microsoft Word, but I haven't found a combination that works with Finale 2004. Anybody solved that one?
But for printing big scores -- especially band and orchestra scores, it is heavenly.
I use it as my main printer. The toner cartridge has a lot of capacity, but I figure I have about half a tank left. Has anybody found a reliable supplier of replacement cartridges that discounts a bit?
