Whoops, your judgement was right and my memory was wrong!  I emailed the
author some time ago asking and I've found my archived reply:
"It's very approximately 4.7m/pixel"

I was wrong about the website as well - that's jpegs at 2m per pixel, it's
a magazine cover DVD with the whole country on that's at 4m per pixel
(jpegs).

Ack - must make mental note not to assume my memory works anymore :-(

Nice area BTW - do you live in the displayed area?
