Has anyone used FlightGear with the simkits instruments?

These are not real expensive and for a basic GA aircraft it should be possible 
to build a very nice cockpit that is very realistic and affordable.  Although 
it would cost more than using a video displays as the panel.  The big 
advantage is the possibility of having switches and other controls on the 
panel that are more realistic.   I looked the site over and there appear to 
be only Windows drivers for the device interface.
