Ok, I open my box and literally found an old forgotten dusty unconnected PATA 40Gb drive. I connected it (after disconnecting SATA drive). And reinstall FreeDOS from USB key. Worked flawlessly this time. At least a few seconds until I try to type 'help dir' or 'help' (as suggested) which make the system hang... as it always did as far as I remember.
So it seems that either FreeDOS have a problem with SATA drives, or with big (150Gb) drives. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
