SYSOUT and JCL. Apparently a stream is comprised of 1 of each. The only mention of DMTNTR030E that the MVS guys have dug up has a very long beard. It refers to S/370, VM/XA and RSCS 2.3.
If they do have only one stream, I have a problem understanding why the link, at least the VM-->MVS part goes catatonic when I specify STREAMS=1, but works for an indeterminate period with higher values. And the MVS guys tell me that they must take JES down to change the values of their corresponding parameters. How does this translate to a >matching STREAMS parameter for the RSCS link? What are the meaning of these four fields? I would guess R is for receiver and T for transmitter, but what is S and J?
