Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if Apple did use some form of Intel's DRM chips. But not for the purpose that people are worried about, that is, for music and videos. Rather, Apple is going to do everything they can to be sure OS X can not easily be run on a generic PC[1]. And Intel's DRM may be the perfect way to do that. Tie the OS to Apple branded computers via a DRM chipset. [1] Methinks it is only a matter of time before someone comes up with a way to run OS X on a generic PC. But even then, I suspect it will be difficult at best, and certainly won't be mainstream. Kind of like getting Linux to run on an XBox. You can do it, if you REALLY want to... but if what you want is a Linux based machine, there are easier and cheaper ways to get one...
