thanks for posting this great question. not only is my partner as much in love with Joni and her music, life, art as i am, he's on the list :-) how lucky is that! You just never know what will happen when you type in the words 'Joni Mitchell' into that search engine. As far as my own obsession, there's no need to explain on my home front. Evidence of Joni everywhere. I know what you mean about friends giving that 'look' when they discover how much Joni is a part of your life. Impossible to explain something that runs so deep within. Brei and I visited a photographer friend in Toronto for a session this past spring and I'd like to relay this sweet little Joni story. Diane's partner Chase Sanborn is a wonderful trumpet/flugelhorn player in Toronto and surrounding area. He's a kick ass, humble kind of musician who knows his stuff and has the chops to prove it. (David Lahm, he's good friends with Paul Reid). Anyway, he heard a track from Both Sides Now, and not knowing it was Joni at first said, hey now, there's a woman who can sing jazz! Sure made us gush with pride. thanks again for the Joni piano CD Michael. It arrived on moving day! When I find it in the pile of boxes in the corner I will let you know :~) Mags ===== You open my heart, you do. Yes you do. - JM Yahoo! Autos - Get free new car price quotes http://autos.yahoo.com
