My husband doesn't understand Joni but he understands me, so I don't get
any grief about my obsession. I've been a Joni fanatic for 34 years, so my
blood relatives just accept it as part of who I am -- my sisters are/were
(one's gone) moderate Joni fans themselves, and I have one niece who can
play some of Joni's piano tunes and is deeply into DJRD right now.

I never knew I burdened my work colleagues with Joni, but apparently I
do. At a recent work event in which I was getting presents, everybody gave
me cat stuff. I laughed about everyone recognizing my cat-obsession, and
someone said "We just couldn't find a life-size poster of Joni Mitchell!"
