have to say, I have no recollection of ever having an 8MB attachment, or for
that matter any attachment with an e-mail from LUG. All of the e-mails come
with the text in the body of the e-mail and not as a separate file attached.
I certainly can't even remember having an e-mail from LUG that is as big as
8MB at all.

Perhaps I am missing something here?

Best wishes to everybody,

I am using the dreaded AOL and yes, I did change to plain text after
learning how in the earlier (several months ago) discussion. Thanks for the
education. However, I am a bit confused by the attachment issue. Even when I
had
dial-up, I don't remember the attachment "loading" until I clicked on it to
download, so my email itself showed up normally with no additional "loading"
time. Thanks for the warning, because I was unaware that others had that
issue. Is it the diffierence between AOL and the rest of the world?
