Shirley,

While my experience may not be typical, moving to the latest build of V5 Deluxe,
which includes upgrading my database, rendered Legacy unusable to me, and the
SNAFU helped me to corrupt some of the peoples' relationships in the process.

You have two risks related to my experience:

1. If you collaborate with other persons using Legacy, you have a strong risk of
corrupting your data.

2. If your Notes (event notes, regular notes, research notes, medical notes)
include the Tab character, your notes may become slightly mangled over time, as
a result of the upgrade. You may also see spurious indications that you edited
your notes text. Spurious messages relating to editing are HIGHLY conducive to
trashing your data. It's the boy who cried wolf... the message you need to pay
attention to, gets lost in the noise. That's how I trashed MY database, and why
I dare not use Legacy at all.

Note that you can upgrade to Deluxe without moving to the latest build.
Purchasing the Deluxe upgrade from Millenia, simply means they give you the key
to unlock the Deluxe features in your CURRENT edition. (Or the upgrade, of
course!)

I highly recommend the Deluxe edition.
