Unfortunately for us (barely surviving mainframers) there are already many
Sun Solaris and NT
admin types employed at our companies and they are always looking to
expand their Sun and NT empires. For some reason they bitch about their
workloads
but seem to enjoy being in the computer room every weekend.... ;o)
Linux is a tough enough sell without throwing a "oh by the way...we need to
hire a VM specialist"
into the mix. I for one will be looking for VM ISV help (as Alan suggested)
if/when
I get the chance to POC S/390 linux.
