Everytime I get a modicum of interest back in JaxLUG, I can count on William to totally buzzkill it. I did not comment on IRC negatively. I do have an opinion (that should not be immediately put down) with respect to IRC as a means to build a strong community of Linux **USERS**. Yes, sysadmins and kernels devs love IRC, old-school chat that it is and all. You love IRC and how you use to wonderfully expand the limitless possibility that is Gentoo. We get it. But, users come in all types of flavors, do they not? Want to cross over into business-space? You won't do it on IRC, I can tell you that. -- _________________________________ *PAUL TISEO, President* *METACODE* Studios, Inc.
