What are the classic (non-perl) computers books? There are
several
that come to mind, The Art of Computer Programming (1->3), the
Dragon
book (thanks leon!, K&R, Computer Graphics (Foley et al). But
what are
the books that you guys really love?I really miss my copy of 'Software Tools' by Kerningham and Plauger originally published in 1976. It developed a series of simple programs written in Ratfor (a Fortran preprocessor). I'm feeling old recomending a 25 year old computer book! Richard
