Julius,

It sounds like 2 separate issues.

1) Available fonts

2) Blurry graphics (including blurry fonts).

It is possible that the ThinkNic CD is configured for TrueType
fonts, and that could be what you are seeing.  Simply copying
the font files over to the LTSP directory won't pick that up.
It's a configuration thing for X, whether to use TrueType
fonts or not.

If I could get my hands on the ThinkNic CD iso image, I could
poke around and see what's up.

I'm still thinking that we aren't utilizing the full potential
of the built-in graphics.  Probably a frequency of modeline
that needs to be tweaked.
