I recently had a chance to copy several huge files from a PentiumII-350 using
a 3com PCMCIA 10bT NIC and a Celeron 500 with a 3com PCI 10bT Nic. The PC->PC
transfers averaged 576,000 bytes per second.
You might be able to find some speed improvement, but I suspect that 600,000
bps is about the best this protocal can do on 10bT...
