Well I just retested the workstations on my LAN and it appears you are
right. I tested between two PCs and was able to copy a 19,090,910 file
between the two in about 36 seconds. And yes, I believe given the version
of the protocol in these two Win95 machines, thats about the best I could
do. I know the Linux port of Samba claims to reach almost line speed so
there might be some room for improvement. But I am not too disappointed
at the speed on my Amiga now, given the age of the system. Thanks again
Holger for a great TCP/IP stack. Btw... Any chance of you giving Samba
the same treatment you gave TCP/IP ie creating the equivalent of Miami
for Samba? I would gladly pre-pay for that!

I tend to agree with you except for the claims of Linux advocates... But
they are just that... Claims.
