The C400 is my Win98 laptop, the other's a Linux box running Mandrake
7.0-2. I think the rate is lower when transferring to a shared disk on
another W98 box. I'm going to try and see what the speed is between two
Linux boxen if/when I get around to installing a dual-boot system in my
other Windows box. (Other? Is a laptop a box?;) (Maybe I should get that
NIC for my Amiga, so I can at least pretend to keep my ramblings
on-topic...)
