Dear Elephant,
I know that this is off the point, but a comment of
yours perplexes me.
Elephant: ...so we'd
face some pretty vexing (and ridiculous) questions
about where the souls and bodies of the actors go off to, when Hamlet comes into being and the actors disappear... Since laboratory experiments have proven that two
or more subatomic particles can occupy the exact same space at exactly the same
time, why wouldn't Hamlet and the actor playing Hamlet be able to do the same.
If we accept the quantum physical model of the universe, the actors would not
have to disappear to make room for Hamlet.
Perplexed!
