G'day Lionel,

If in fact you are going to use the 2.2.3-1 RPMS, then indeed you will
need to do,

cd /lib/modules
rm preferred
ln -s <new-kernel-number> preferred

but if you are going to user the latest RPMS 2.2.3-ac4-4, then there is
no need to do the above, as stated,
