Merry Christmas to you as well, Ivan, and a Merry Christmas to all on this
list. This has been the most enjoyable and informative list I have
participated on. Thanks to all of you for the humor and the knowledge that
you have shared, and a big ~thankyou~ to Mike for starting and moderating
this list.

Best wishes for a wonderful 2000 to you all.

Well, it's a little exaggerated to say he regrew a hand. It was the tip of
a finger between the last knuckle and the base of the fingernail. It was
done using silver bandages with a tiny electric current diffusing the
silver into the wound along with various frequencies I believe. It also

CS>RE: Ancient Data Storage Media, was CS>Dowsing???? Way, way OT

1999-12-27 Thread James Osbourne, Holmes
Well, yes, a good question.

But the cuneiform tablets are interesting to compare with paper and
magnetic storage. They really are hard to alter without tell-tale
evidence, they are not affected by reasonable strength magnetic fields and
radiation, don't fade or rot, and are still readable after 5K years.

How much of our current and past data storage media will be usable in the
year 7000?

Interesting printer design problems though, sort of a hot clay linotype;
instead of toner, you shovel in dirt, and the warm-up time is a killer.
   Mail is a problem too...

But on the upside, it would really be impractical to store title 26 USC in
cuneiform. And you could drop your drivers license on the revenue agent's
foot.

Henley Healthcare has a cold laser device called the MicroLite 830 that will
cure
CTS. It was successfully tested over 3 years ago on a GM assembly line but the
%...@* FDA has been sitting on their hands because, in my opinion, they want to
prevent chiropractors and physical therapists from treating and curing an
ailment
that will then put all those wrist surgeons out of business. Interestingly, it
has been approved for veterinary use for years, so the dogs and horses can get
cured but we don't. Maybe if you know a friendly vet, he will treat you.
Otherwise call Henley in Sugarland, Texas, and inquire if there is an FDA
testing
protocol going on in your area.

1999-12-27 Thread Ron Cuthbertson
Hello List

In keeping with other recent non topic posts recently I forward the
following .

Ron

Date: 20/12/99 13:39

Greetings friends, associates, and acquaintances,

Please forgive the unsolicited mail, but I thought that
this communication would be of interest to you all. At
least, it answers the question as to why the Soil
Association does not include provisions for composted GMO
contaminated materials in their standards. Also, I consider
that the delete key is a quick and painless solution to
unwanted emails!

Take care all, and happy Xmas.

Dear XXX XX

UK MAFF investigated DNA fragmentation and found that GMO material would
need to be heated to 95C for at least 5 min in order to fragment the DNA
into sizes of less than 100bp - which would be enough to disrupt the
antibiotic resistance genes. But even this treatment would leave short
fragments of DNA which do retain some biological activity. You simply
must try to ensure the material you compost is GMO free I'm afraid. MAFF
scientists have stated in their reports that GMO material must not be
used for silage, because DNA is not destroyed during composing and soil
micro-organisms can take it up and incorporate it - indeed, they do so
regularly.

The dispersal of naked GMO DNA in the environment is a major concern
here at ISIS and we are planning a number of papers about it next year.
Animal feed is a mess I agree and there is nothing easy about this awful
GMO situation for any sort of farmer.

I attach a critique on the UK MAFF study for your information.

Critique of MAFF Report CS0116

"Effect of feed processing conditions on DNA fragmentation"

By Angela Ryan
Molecular Biologist, Open University 19th Nov 1999

Introduction

The purpose of this report was to determine the extent to which DNA is
fragmented in animal feed. Animal feed is either fed raw or processed
under a variety of conditions in commercial mills. The effect of
several methods of processing on the fragmentation of DNA in animal feed
was analysed. DNA fragmentation in raw foodstuffs from a number of
commercial feeds and non-commercial feeds was also investigated.

This work set out to address concerns regarding the transfer of foreign
genes, especially antibiotic resistance genes introduced in GM crops, to
microbes rendering them antibiotic-resistant. The report points to the
resurgence of tuberculosis as an example of the significant medical
problems that may come about from the transfer of such resistance to
micro-organisms and suggests transfer of resistance genes from GM crops
would exacerbate the problem of resistant strains of bacteria.

In order for gene transfer to occur, a gene would need to be complete
and therefore the DNA of which it is composed, stable and relatively
intact. The report states that it is unlikely for transfer of such
genes from plant to microbe to be proved impossible. It goes on:
"Therefore, if GM plants are to be licensed, it is necessary to know
what onditions are necessary in installations preparing animal feeds for
the prevention of gene transmission, i.e. sufficient disruption of DNA."
This report describes the results of a Pilot Study commissioned from
Leeds University by MAFF. The study is on a small scale, has limited
resources and has been performed on non-GM material. Nevertheless, the
results give every indication that further studies are needed, which the
scientists concerned were ready to undertake and were expecting further
funding for from MAFF.

Experimental Details
Processing Specifications
Three major UK animal feed companies were involved with this study,
providing advice on processing specifications and a range of animal feed
samples. Ranges of laboratory treatments were carried out to determine
the conditions required during processing to sufficiently disrupt the
DNA. Wheat samples were subjected to mechanical grinding and milling at
different grist sizes in the laboratory. The processing of oil seed
samples did not receive the closely monitored processing conditions
initially required by the project - processed oil samples were supplied
by the industry.

Samples
Samples of animal feed ingredients were obtained from the collaborating
companies and include: Oil seeds, before and after oil extraction by
expulsion and compression; Wheat grains of the variety Riband subjected
to heating both dry and moist, at a range of temperatures and pressures
and for a range of durations. Smaller samples of 20 varieties of wheat
were subject to proximate analysis and five of these varieties were
subjected to dry heat treatment at 93 degrees centigrade; Fresh maize
leaves and maize silage, from the University Farm; fresh maize cobs and
maize grains from the local supermarket; Maize gluten and flaked maize;
Fresh wet sugar beet and dried sugar beet pulp; Fresh ryegrass and rye
silage.

Experimental Protocol
DNA was extracted from the variety of animal feed

An interesting line of thought I have been having lately. The first man
created, Adam, was perfect in every

also perfect in every way.
We were created in God's image. If, indeed the world, (and man) has been
degenerating, it is possible
that we had a far greater capacity than we use now. What is it they say? We
use only 10 % of our
brain?DId the "1st Adam" use his whole brain, and did Jesus, and is that in
part why he was able to
heal, to understand peoples thoughts, etc. etc.?

Blah, blah, blah. I just wanted to encourage you that, no, thinking things

deficient. Also was just reading Bernard Jenson...he believes the

Capra goat whey, which has lots of sodium and potassium. Braggs
amino acids (a liquid that goes on food) is tasty and very high in
food sodium.

Food sodium is apparently quite different than table salt.

Homeopathically, salt is nat/mur (I think...help me here, Lew...)
If you are salt deficient, you could try 3 or 6 x, 3 times a day...
couln't hurt...(Lew...what do you think?)

The sea salts which are naturally extracted...Celtic salt and others...
(NOT the stuff in boxes that says sea salt...) are also supposed
to me helpful.

There was a theory going around that CFIDS was a salt-deficient
disease. I tried Celtic salt, but no change. With a number of
current changes, however, which including going back on the sea
salt and adding Braggs, I am feeling better. I have just added
in Capra goat whey, which is also great for the intestines...
brings about a pH that is conducive to good flora...and also
alkalizes the blood. It is in general a rich source of easily
digested minerals.

I used to crave salt...since making these changes I don't.

RE: CS>Dowsing????

1999-12-27 Thread James Osbourne, Holmes
Hi Folks,

That is very probably true. Lawrence Gardner's research says that the
original meaning of the word which has come down to us from the very
distant past as "sin", originally meant "genetic defect".

Re: CS>Dowsing????

1999-12-27 Thread Nicole Fraser

Well, in answer to Any's question. I cannot ask him to understand because as
someone said he was not raised with the same beliefs as me. I did not mean to
offend. All I meant was God has said he does not want us to open doors like to
"divining" etc.. so these are indeed MY personal beliefs, so I do not wish to
get into dowsing if I thought that it follows the line of this. All I meant was
that simply. You can say it has to with energies, but I do not want to be aware
of "another" sense if I should not and God doesn't want me too. (I am sorry but
my brain is very foggy and I have been trying VERY hard to make myself clear,
but I seem to find the wrong words:0( ) if I feel this is more than common
sense that God gives us like, oh I do not like this person,..or oh I feel sick
from eating this, or I am doing the wrong thing..then I don't want to be apart
of something God did not already give me. Like intuition maybe I am trying to
say? And if it tells me not to do this then I will!
 listen! ;0)

I DO agree with trying to be more in touch with your body in a WAY..like me I
never listen to it when it tells me to REST..SIMPLE things like this, but I
know there are OTHER methods of this that are not dowsing, like relaxing
techniques..and things.

I believe in this time of age..as not to get into talking about religion (as
have I have tried to be blunt and not talk much,) that we have to be careful as
the Devil can be as convincing and fool us into thinking things are from"GOD",
because they seem to be the answer to our prayers, when in fact they are
not...that is all:0).

If people believe that dowsing is fine, well I am not trying to change your
mind. "I" cannot say I have a good feeling about it. But I DON'T want people
accusing me of not being open to things just because I am a religious person!
THAT is just ignorance! I would not have come here and asked this question if I
did not feel I could be wrong about itI did not close my eyes, I just
wanted more information.

I think I have been VERY open minded. I did not make my dicision UNTIL I found
more information from you all! I did not go to this woman and just tell her, oh
you are a witch and I will not be a par tof this! LOL I thought she was JUST an
herbalist, but when it seemed different than that I had to, and DID make up my
OWN mind..I am not blinded or ignorant by my religious views and I respect all
of your oppinions and appreciate you doing the same:0). Just because I do not
believe it is for me, or something I would recamend doesn't mean I am IGNORANT
because I want to follow the bible and God I do not think. People who don't
feel like that about God and religion can't possible understand. :0( So I am
worn out from all this! I hope NOW I have made myself clear in what I am trying
to say? And honestly I found everyones perspectives interesting to say the
least..;0) Thank you all for your oppinions!

CS>Autoimmune Diseases? HELP!!!!

1999-12-27 Thread Nicole Fraser

Now one thing has ALWAYS stayed a constant in my illness. My body is attacking
itself since I have a positive ANA. I do not have Lupus, or anything like
that..we believe Lyme, but it seems to be more complicated maybe?

I will be brief and just ask if anyone knows any natural therapies that may
help? I know doctors reccamend things that depress the immune system to make it
slow down..are there any herbs maybe or something similar that may be of help?
Has anyone had any success with doing something special that has helped? I am
sure trying to minimize stress helps as that makes it worse, and my body
attacks itself even more, but when this isn't possible at times when it is just
unaviodable I was wondering if there is anything else that may help :0)

Any thoughts???

Silver causes injured cells to revert back to stem cells, which can then become
anything they need to be. If you have a gaping wound then it will fill with
blood, which if you have silver ions available will convert to juvinile or stem
cells, which then become whatever you need to heal totally and completely
without scaring. I know of one case in which an entire hand was regrown using
silver ions, and it ended up completely functional and except for missing all
the scars and blemishes that were on it before it was cut off, identical to the
old hand. Theoratically the hand will be young, so it is possible that when the
person is very old, that regrown hand will still look like it is a young
adult's.

Unfortunately scar tissue will not rejuvinate. I have read that to remove a
scar, it has to be physically removed, then the silver ions applied to the
wound, and it will then heal without scar tissue.

Write to matth...@ispchannel.com (Matt Scudiere). He knows the researcher who

research. Unfortunately the man cut the other hand off within a year. Not
sure what his problem

maybe it was karmic,

I have been reading the book "biological transmtations". I had no idea that
there was so much proof that life can so easily convert elements to other
elements. It turns out that the body converts sodium to potassium when you
are getting into hyperthermia, so maybe there is a biological basis to a sweat
lodge after all other than sweating out the toxins.

It is all a matter of termnology. All is energy is no different than
saying that all is God, it is simply two different ways of expressing
the same thing. Since all is God then all information is available to
all, if it is good and right for you to have it. Saying whether
something is from the higher self, or is psychic, or God is nothing but
putting divisions where in reality there are none. Simply say it is
from what you feel comfortable with, and go with it.

Making sure you do not open the wrong door is important. That is why one always

The inverse is that sickness is from sin, which I have heard before. I feel
that is partly true, but also I beleive that it is often from a persons
distorted reality and belief system. For instance, "I got exposed to a cold
so now I will catch it (ok says the body), or my mother died from a heart
attack so I will also (ok says the body)". Also many diseases appear to
have been created by man (ie. AIDS), which would certainly be a sin of
giganic proportions, so saying that all sickness is from sin, does not
necessarily mean that it is from the sin of the person who got it. I believe
it simply means that if the world was without sin, then we would have no
disease.

Re: CS>Dowsing????

If something is good and has no strings attached, then you should be
able to assume it is from God. If there are strings attached then be
careful.

Pray for healing and it occurs: God.
Ask for healing and it occurs: God
Have someone lay on hand and get healed: God
Use a rod to overcome your 5 senses and ask what to do to be healed and
get good answers: God

Ask a person (whether a psychic, priest, or entity) to be healed, and
they demand that you do something, such as take an oath, make a
uncomfortable affirmation, join an organization, sell your soul or
something: be very very wary. Likely this is not of God (except in the
broad sense that God is everything). It is likely from a separation
from God (devil or otherwise).

Re: CS>New Scars On Face

1999-12-27 Thread Marshall Dudley

Thanks to all for the confirmation that making your own Potassium Iodine is a
bad idea. To explain just a little. It came from an article that I had
thought was good because I thought I knew who the author was. I hadn't looked
into it a lot since I was so busy with other research. My origional thought
was that it would be good for many people who wouldn't get ready for an
emergency beforhand since we live in a very rural farming type community.
Anyway I could have made a very bad mistake that would have been hard to live
with by giving them bad advice and I just want you all to know that I'm
grateful for your input. Thanks Nancy

If you consider a connecting with the Creater and higher self, and
feeling weak energies psychic (which it is since all information is
energy psychic or not), then yes could be construed as psychic. Dowsing
allows you to connect with your higher self (soul) which has much
information (it can communicate with God and so forth) not available to
the 5 senses. Being religious should not make you not want to
communicate with your higher self and God, but I do know that churches
teach do often this. I will not go into why, as we are not suppose to
get into religious matters here. Lets just say that religions tend to
not want you to find out anything for yourself, but if you are really
trying to spiritual (of spirit), instead of religious (of man), then
these things are very a very improtant soiurce of information. If you
have a vision or just know that there is danger and avoid it, this is
the same source and psychic. I would not ignore a "feeling" of danger
just because the church indicates that you should do so. "Feeling" of
dangers have prevented serious injury or death to almost every member of
my family at on time or another.

It is only wierd if you by into the concept that all there is can be
sensed by the 5 senses. The use of an innate sense other than the 5
should not be considered weird. Anyone can do it if they so wish.

Aloe vera gel with CS. Don't forget to mix in the CS, very important. The Aloe
Vera supplies nutrients to the tissue while blood is cut off so it doesn't die
and
has a number of healing agents in it. The CS prevents infection, and allows
injured
cells to revert back to juvinile cells so that they can form the proper cells,
thereby eliminating scar tissue. There is much synergy between the two so that
the
whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

No salt restriction, in fact, I tested LOW on salt, doc said he had

trouble treating my problems as I react to some things. Example, amino

I understood from the first question where Nicole was coming from; I come

conservativeness of my family. BUT on the other hand, I have been the only
member of the family to "explore" other denonimations/thought

ignorance hidden behind religion AND has been for thousands of years. . . If
you don't come from mine or Nicole's background it would be hard for you to
understand her concern - I did & share it.

My parents although ULTRA religious took me to a "witch" doctor that was
famous in Georgia (she was written up in the Atlanta Journal here right

she did. Point being everything is relative. . . my grandmother would be

Easy now, Robert,

If people ate and lived properly in the first place most ailments
would not occur, and if one can change a persons diet, life-style and
habits, that's great...but unusual.

There is a place for supplements, if only to counteract the
unavoidable stresses of modern life and to replace the nutrients etc.
no longer present in modern and processed foods.
Other supplements can be used to quickly right imbalances that would
take whole nutrition some time to achieve, and still others can have
benefits over and above that which can be supplied through nutrition.

Herbs and minerals have been used by man and animals as medicines
since the dawn of time.

And, after all, proper nutrition also costs money these days.

Regards
Ivan.

Deb,

I have no idea why this would occur. There is nothing in Alkalife
other than potassium and sodium, both essential minerals, and a
surplus of hydroxyl ions.

Two drops of the alkaline booster furnish about 50 mg of potassium
(daily requirement 1000 mg) and 98 mg of sodium (3000 mg).

The hydroxyl ions add to the over-all body alkalinity.

Were you or are you on a strict no salt diet?

I certainly have no reaction at all on taking these drops, nor have I
heard of one.

It is a sad day indeed to hear such comments... It's like saying that moon
pulling the water in one's body is an evil influence.

People have been burned at the stake for far less than using something like
colloidal silver, all in the name of some type of righteousness or another.
How many people who like to point out sin even know what the word means, or
where it comes from? Not many. If any.

Colloidal silver and dowsing have one thing in common; they both operate off of
natural principles, which Creator Prime designed. And who can speak for
another's motive, be it in the use of dowsing, colloidal silver, or religious
politics?

I personally do not dowse, though I have nothing against it, and I do believe
in Divine Providence.

King Solomon wisely pointed out that one would be well advised not to contempt
prior to investigation... I'd take it one step futher, being, without PERSONAL
investigation. That means getting or making colloidal silver and testing it
for oneself as apposed to reading some others' report. It also means picking
up the traditional dowsing rod oneself. If one is not willing to do this, then
the one I'd call an evil influence is the accuser - the one whom not only
contempts prior to investigation, but whom also condemns. I believe that
Yeshua said 'Though they spoke in my name, I never knew them.' < paraphrased >
regarding such types.

It is the doctor whom refuses to tell a mother to take her child off of
Aspartame products because the AMA told him to do so.

It is the so-called scientist whom claims colloidal silver does not work at all
because it offends his ego or pascifies a need to belong.

If it does not proclaim: Live free! Live boldly! Think for yourself! Fail
often and love your learning! - Then, as it is pointed out so eloquently in
Corinthians I-13, it IS NOTHING.

I think you are asking the wrong question. You should be asking "does it

LOL Well, if there are things involved that I don't want to be a part of
and are sinful to God.. I think then it is best to stay away from it..;0) If
GOD is not the one involved in the healing then I would rather be sick. I am
sure others may disagree? especially those who do not believe in God right? ;0/
But I am sure most of those who do agree with me...I don't know your beliefs so
it may sound childish to you, but to me it is far from that...

The patient has to be comfortable with the treatment. Period. Doesn't
matter if it makes sense to someone else if it doesn't "fit" the person
being treated. Same thing with diet. Same thing with everything. If it
doesn't feel good and right to the person being treated, it can't work.
The body and mind and spirit have to be open...to allow healing...and
that is an INDIVIDUAL experience, what each person is able and willing
to be open to.

Fortunately there are many paths to healing, so that each person may
find the one that is right for them

Lew,

Concerning homeopathic silica...

Do you suggest 6x or a higher potency?

Re: CS>New Scars On Face

1999-12-27 Thread fhlew
Those were very embarrassing moments when a few of
my patients showed me tiny bits of glass and on one ocassion a small
piece of plastic, which they pulled out from old cicatriced injuries
sustained
in previous motor vehicle accidents and traumas. In reviewing their
clinical records, it was noted that Silica 6x [ Homeopathic ] was often
prescibed for their various complaints. The phytonutrient, organic
Silica, is not the same as the potentized silica. The latter's clinico-
therapeutic effect depends on the dilution factor. I always maintain a
high index of suspicion of the possible retention of foreign material in any

injury sustained, particularly, those relating to Motor Vehicle Accidents
with shattered plastics or glasses. Experience has taught me that potentized
silica is a good medicine for the extrusion of foreign body in the human
system
but it can cause havoc with all implants and
transplants in the human body. Silica may even reactivate the healed lesion
in Pulmonary Tuberculosis by its attempt at extrusion of the calcified
complex.
Foreign material retained in an open injury will evoke a reation which delays

the healing process. There will be poor cicatrization. Permanent scarring
may
 occur.

   With regards
 Lew
