Hello,
I tried to install amavis-new 2.6.4 on my SlackWare 13.0 system.
Used CPAN to install all the modues mentioned nin INSTALL.

Do you mean open or edit? ;-) Why don't they want small but necessary

Well as far as amavis goes, one could argue the configuration file i

Hallo,
I installed amavis-new for the first time this morning and noticed
this message in my logs. I have not been able to solve it by myself,
so ask for some assistance.
Clamd runs as user clamav:clamav. User amavis:amavis also belong to
group clamav.
Directory /var/run/clamav is owned by
ppens several times. Although we raised the log
level to 5 it's not apparent what the problem is. Amavisd-new simply
ceases to work and does not make any further log entries. The log ends
with an entries like

Hi.
I've been using amavisd-2.1.2, and am now trying to upgrade to 2.4.1.
As far as I can tell, all my perl modules are up to date, and perl is
version 5.8.4.
I'm having trouble with tainted sql queries, though.
I'm getting this in my logs:
