Hi Roger,
I must disagree with your assertion. There is no reason not to update

Import uses the API, AIE uses the API (albeit Merge, Submit, Modify -

Hi,
Has anyone seen any application data in the AR System Historical License
Usage form?
I have tested this on an 7.6.04 SP2 system with ITSM, and I do not see
anything but 'Application Name' = AR Server in there.
If you look at the AR System Current License Usage, you will see the

Hi,
try to turn of the flash-rendering in midtier-settings:

in config.properties (Midtier/WEB-INF/classes)
Kind regards

Here are my observations, in case they are useful to you.
There are 24,288 records in my test server - a clone of production from last
November - and over 50,000 on production today (queries limited to 50,000 and
unqualified queries not allowed); searching on 'Application Name' = AR
Server.
Thank you very much for this informationI will look in to this to day.

Has anyone heard back yet? Good news, I hope.

Why is it that when you assign hidden permissions for a form for a user, it

Hello All,
I've been banging my head on the keyboard for the last few hours and was
hoping someone had already dealt with this.
We are on 7.6.04 SP2 and I need to add a 'Work Info Type' to the Incident
form of First Call Resolution.
I've ensured the form/view for HPD:HelpDesk and HPD:Worklog are
ARX data export - change the value and re-import.
I've done this before and it's worked well.
Also - try copy to new function on WUT. Sometimes copy to new will make
that field read-write. That's worked for me on status reasons.

Jase,
Had same problem on earlier version where I had to change the field 'Selection
Code' to read-write. It was 7.6.0 something.

I had to do this a few weeks back. I believe I had to just let the

Hello Listers,
Can anyone tell me if that is any Source Control application that integrates
with the BMC Remedy Developer Studio 7.6.04 tool? If not, then how does BMC
Remedy Developer Studio 7.6.04 handle Source Control?
Today we are preparing to migrate from AR System 7.1 patch 11 to 7.6.04
Hi Jase,
There is an active link that should set it to read/write on Query or Create:
SYS:SHR:Initialize_200
I would check that active link.

I found this filter which appears like it may be a part of a filter guide (I
haven’t investigated).. If it turns out to be an unused filter, ignore this..
If not I think there is one additional query which is rather unnecessary in
this.
The Filter Name is INT:AASFND:DAT:Site_Count_Q

That seems to be a fair explanation, but I would still go with the SQLs against
the views concept until there is a problem. In 99.99% cases it works fine with
a few exceptions that can cause it to not work..
I just thought it was not the best piece of workflow, that’s all..

Hi Dee...Mr. Obvious here...did you check the ar.conf/ar.cfg file for

Thanks for responding Jase,
Yes, that was the first place I checked. Now I'm going thru all workflow

users configuration preferences, etc.
I'm at a lost. I even turn on all the other logs to see if any other errors

Dee,
Check your armonitor.cfg (conf if on unix) file too.. The email engine
startup there may be pointing to the older server..

This error is for the remedy alert. Now, if related - I did check the
armonitor.conf and the setting is correct.. I further checked the
Emailenigine daemon properties file, email.sh..
Nothing - so I'm at a lost.
