What is a neutral safety switch
and do you have to have one on a 69 chevelle SS? Is it the "column to
tranny linkage for safety reason" part in the explaination below? What is
a range select lever? Does that come on a rebuilt tranny? Does this
list look sufficient for a floor shift swap
Will I have to shorten the drive
shaft with a TH400? How will I know how much? Will the machine shop
know exactly what to do?

235/60r14. I would like to go to a 17 in wheel since I am planning on
putting 3.73 rear end gears. This will lower my RPM's on the highway by

The only way to know for sure is to check the casting number

Is the 69 chevelle ss 396 suppose to be
considerable higher in the frontthan the rear? I can just barely
see the top tread on my rear tires, whilethe chrome on the front wheel well
is 5+ inches above the tread. Please letme know if this is normal, or
if the car should be level which would
costs too much (with the dropped spindles, the brake kit, alignment, and
new ball joints) to do the front right now. Also if you have any
suggestions as to companies that I can get the shocks and springs
