Hi,
The hd install (dec 17) fails at:
No such psuedo-hash field "special".
This happens post install, prior to the lilo dialog, msec, etc.
Additionally the HPT366 driver taints the kernel, I was not able to get my
raid running.
(had to fix this manually in order to come this far...)

Hi
My hd.img, checked with two different copies, of dec 6 00:18 ftp.sunet.se can
not make out what ext3 is, all my partitions are ext3 and are reported as
ext2.
I even reformatted my partition hda9 to ext3 by the install program and
rebooted and it was still reported as ext2.

Why does this never happen to me in a lottery? :)

Wouldn't it be better to show only directories? We are searching for
the installation-di
Hi,
After choosing from which partition to install, you can enter a
directory on that partition. If it is not the installation directory, a
list will be shown with the directory listing. But only files are shown
in this listing, not directories!

I originally installed 8 beta1 with the hd.img disk image (which I
understand used a 2.2 kernel) without any problems. Since the 2.4
kernel has been adapted to the install disk I have not been able to
start an install. Each time after it finishes loading the kernel, at

1. Sentence grammar is bad in the questions about which disk, etc.

entry.
3. Does not list all files in source directory when it can't find the iso.
4. Sometimes finds the iso and somet
