Since I'm not a commiter on jakarta-poi and I don't want Andy coming at me
with a bazooka ;-) I've committed a modified version of the build to
jakarta-poi module on sourceforge.net. It's res
cence must be Apache compatible. Bear in
mind that if you donate your code, you don't loose rights on it; you can
always do *anything* with it, and Apache can use it without limitation
following the Apache licence indications.

Centipede.
BTW, I'm going to roll Centipede 0.2 tomorrow, and hope we will use it soon

I checked and the Xerces parser seems to be correctly in the Cocoon
classpath.
Now I'm downloading JDK1.3.1_02 to debug this myself.
Are you sure that you don't have any system property that points to another
parser?

The versions of the JDK that have been tested are 1.4 and 1.3.1_02.
The "dist" target is still a problem, and gives out of memory errors on
JDK1.3 with a normal invocation.
To have a dist use "quickdist" instead, that doesn't do the build test but
every file begins with a license
2. javadoc tags are there
I've committed it to let you see what happens using the default options... I
thought you'd have a laugh, but *shrugs*...
