I finally looked into the issue with par2cmdline and it seems that
somewhere between OpenBSD 5.5 and 5.6 behaviour changed in gcc and
it surfaced issue with defines in par2cmdline.
Below patch updates par2cmdline to 0.6.14 and includes my patch
which seems to fix the issue for me.
