Not techno, but for fans of early dance music sounds, these two will be playing in Chi on Saturday. I've never seen them live, so I'm not sure if they are sticking to the old stuff or not but this might be interesting. Here's hoping we get some sweet WBMX action. -Art
(313) Saturday in NYC: SITUATION
This Saturday, August 22 at Cameo in Brooklyn, FEAR OF MUSIC presents SITUATION: Atomly 'Geisterbahnhoefe' record release and the return of Mr. John Roberts, whose new EP 'Blame' was just released on Berlin's Laid imprint. Bios and links to mixes below. Hope you'll join us! -- SATURDAY AUGUST 22 FEAR OF MUSIC presents SITUATION JOHN ROBERTS (Dial/Laid, Berlin) ATOMLY (Atomiq, NYC) ‘Geisterbahnhoefe’ EP record release KEN MEIER ERIC WRENN plus Ashley’s birthday extravaganza CAMEO (inside Lovin' Cup) 93 N 6th St at Wythe, Brooklyn Doors 11pm, $7 http://fearofmusic.org http://atomly.com http://johnrobert.net -- JOHN ROBERTS John Roberts creates music that is meticulous and loose, evocative and innovative. Raised in the so-called heart of America, John's parents, both amateur pianists, exposed him to classical and jazz music at an early age and encouraged his fifteen-year training on drums and violin. During this formative period in Cleveland, Ohio, he began collecting records and eventually chose to relocate to Chicago, where he developed a taste for house music. As he began to gain interest in contemporary European electronic music, John felt it necessary to contribute his own production efforts. Setting out to recreate the energy and experimentation of the mixtapes and records from his past, John began working with analog synthesizers, antiquated sequencing software, and reel-to-reel tape recorders at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. Four years later he relocated to Berlin to be amongst fellow producers, DJs, and the city's thriving music community. His new EP 'Blame' is out now on Laid, a subsidiary of Dial. ATOMLY Live at Resolute, July 2009 http://www.atomly.com/music/atomly_-_live_at_resolute_nyc_2009july.mp3 To some, the ability to cross genres can be confusing, even threatening; for Atomly, it signals his creativity and ability to draw from a greater wellspring than most. Over his last decade of production, Atomly's releases have to some extent reflected his surroundings: beginning with the IDM and breakcore of North Dakota and Minneapolis, past the house sounds that blended his years living in Chicago, through the minimalism and dubstep that emerged during his year in Berlin, to the techno jams he's creating in his current Brooklyn residence. Fortunately for dancefloors in New York and wherever his extensive travels take him, Atomly doesn't just produce: the man knows how to rock a party. His DJ sets, which have been known to take many an afterparty deep into the afternoon, encompass the musical dexterity that is his history. He usually performs surrounded by swaths of revelers, yelling, jumping, exhibiting intense excitement to hear him play, sometimes even in matching unicorn shirts. Since he first launched Atomiq Records in 1999 with his seminal 'Laptop Rock' album, Atomly has released on Wolf + Lamb, Carpark, and Fear, among other labels. He has collaborated with a cabal of artists ranging from breakcore with Enduser to minimal house with Shaun Reeves and Seth Troxler. His new EP 'Geisterbahnhoefe' is out now on Atomiq. Suffice to say, B12, alongside Paul Smith's Likemind Records and a few others, were a big influence on us when starting up Iridite and it's a pleasure to finally square the circle and bring them back to Glasgow for their first Scottish performance in well over 10 years. Their rare live events are a combination of tough acid fuelled Techno with the more familiar and deeper Detroit influenced numbers that brought them fame through their own B12 imprint and Warp Records. Mike and Steve will be performing live and direct at Bleep at Pivo Pivo, Waterloo St which gives an unusually intimate venue for them to take over for the night- tickets are strictly limited and are expected to sell out fast- available now from Rubadub for a very reasonable £12 +Booking Fee. Right now that probably means not another late 20s Brit flown in from London to the new Prague for the weekend. yeah, as a mid-20s Brit, my secret weapon for getting past the door staff is a Danish girlfriend with fluent German. may encounter more difficulties getting in without... On a broader side, as far as I have seen (that means in France and specially in Paris), the doors seems to be more tolerant and open minded in 'techno' clubs rather than the others. That does not mean eveybody can get in, but just that our 'regular' clubs seem to accept only posh people. Any thoughts ? How is it abroad ? -- Benoît.
Re: (313) Octave One at Berghain, Berlin this Saturday night
Well as it turned out I -did- get rejected at the door, but was saved from a cold walk back to the hotel by being on Octave One's list. So all's well . . . I arrived just as Octave One were starting; they played precisely an hour between 5:00 and 6:00 and then an encore. As usual they were on form, really upbeat performance with a fairly good crowd reaction for most of it. The sound wasn't great during their set, a bit crackly, although I've observed that big sound systems are very unforgiving to live setups whether analog and/or digital. During the encore Lenny did Moby one better -- not only did he get up on the table where all the gear was to cheer on the crowd, he continued to play, reaching down to hit the controls at the right moment. Maybe not as great as Hendrix playing the guitar with his teeth but pretty darn exciting :) Kevin Saunderson was also on his best game, none of the cheesy stuff I've heard him play the last few times I've seen him -- housey techno all the way with the usual bits of Good Life thrown in throughout. The floor was up for it the whole way and he had a big smile. I didn't stay long after that, the following DJ was kind of boring and the Panaromabar was overcrowded with semi-drunk scenesters. The club is big and the sound in the main room is impressive (though not the best i've ever heard, that honor goes to the old 177 Townsend system in SF and the Twilo system in NY). The crowd was reasonably friendly and actually dancing quite a bit. I don't think I'm likely to go back except for a special occasion like this if I happen to be in Berlin again, because when you get down to it, it's really just another big club with door staff who discriminate because they can. I've been in and around the music scene for much, much longer than they have, and I don't need that sh1t. cheers Fred

Re: (313) Octave One at Berghain, Berlin this Saturday night
Forgot to send my reply to the list: Hi Fred, Berghain puts the set times up on their myspace. Here you go: 24:00 h – 5:00 h Norman Nodge 5:00 h – 6:00 h Octave One live 6:00 h – 8:00 h Kevin Sounderson 8:00 h – ende Andre Galluzzi Panorama Bar Made To Play from 12 til 12. 24:00 h – 6:00 h Tristan Da Cunha Adam Shelton 6:00 h – 9:00 h Jesse Rose 9:00 h – 12:00 h Claude Von Stroke 12:00 h – 15:00 h Cassy 15:00 h – 18:00 h Radio Slave 18:00 h – 21:00 h James Holden 21:00 h – ende Steffi Berghain looks very strong that night. Perfect techno club. Panoramabar rather wretched until midday, but should have a nice atmosphere anyway (it tends to) so worth popping your head in. In terms of getting in, I've never had any issue. Going by yourself is an advantage. Learn the German for 'Just me', or 'One', as the bouncer may ask you How many are going in?. Just look serious in the queue, don't speak English, and don't dick around, and you should be fine. The bouncers are all middle aged gay men, as is the core Ostgut crowd, so they're far from ageist. It's a much, much older crowd than in Fabric (panoramabar is younger, same entry system, but very marked separation inside). Since it's Berghain's birthday, and Berghain is the gay part of the club, they may be stricter on the door -- but as a single male, you should be the beneficiary of this. Having said all this, you're more likely to get turned away if you go during peak queuing time (roughly 2-7). Remember in Berlin once you've paid, you get a stamp allowing you access to the club any time, so going at 12, getting a stamp, and coming back a few hours later is always an option. RE: (313) Octave One at Berghain, Berlin this Saturday night
Fred random old guy This will probably help - I'm an old guy and I don't think it's done me any harm there. Think the door peepz there want as mixed and interesting a crowd as possible. Right now that probably means not another late 20s Brit flown in from London to the new Prague for the weekend. I heard from a stateside friend that if the doorguys talk to him he emphasises he's not a Brit (not a good calling card at Berlin doors now). (Unlike me) you probably don't have to worry about being too deranged when you get to the door as that might not fly well either. Think I heard second hand one of the guys say they're on the lookout for people who are not being genuine in some way (not much help). (Depending on what time O1 are on) I think it's probably easier to get in after the queue dies down, which I imagine is after 7am? (can more knowledgeable headz give an accurate figure for this?). (and when, I don't want to wait around 6 hours for the guys to play) The running order is usually posted on Berghain's MySpace a day or 2 before. Don't have a hotel yet but I'll be making those arrangements Friday. Circus Hostel or their hotel are good and good €. thanks again to francis and all others for advice, it's always an adventure. I normally don't tolerate club nonsense, but this is O1 and KMS and it is, after all, Berghain. So I'll do the best I can. Your name's not down, you're not on the list...! fh

(313) Iridite at Bleep with Orlando Voorn this Saturday - Stereo, Renfield Lane
Hey everybody! just a quick heads up to say that this weekend I'll be playing at the regular Bleep night here in Glasgow with a live set from Octogen (aka Marco Bernardi ,responsible for Commuters' Computers on IR004 and also remixing Mixed Metaphors on IR008) and.the long awaited return to Glasgow of Orlando Voorn. He hasn't played in Glasgow for 7 years and now, after a long period of living in Detroit and Washington, he's finally back on the scene. For anyone who hasn't seen him before, Orlando uses his extensive old school DJing techniques (he was dutch DMC mixing champ way back in 1987) and blends them with future sounding club tracks from Detroit to Tokyo and back again- a real treat for the connoisseurs of music that I know you all are! There's some pre-club food and music at the Courtyard bar on West Nile street and there will be a special after party too. It beats staying in and watching X-Factor! cheers Jason Iridite myspace.com/iridite myspace.com/bleeplive

Fw: (313) 7th June (Next Saturday)Süd Electronic Presents Uzuri Recordings With Move D , Lerosa , Tristan Watkins Aka Phonopsia +
Attention you lot in London and environs, fair warning, I'm about to descend on your fair city (despite your crappy new mayor, how dare he ban a nice lager in the Tube!), first very briefly this Saturday for Lakuti's party (how could I resist distracting Tristan while he plays) and then I'm off to the UN climate meetings in Bonn for a week and then back the 14th for another week. Looking for cool things to do, record shops of course. And speaking of which, the big front page story in our local daily today says that vinyl is making a comeback! cheers Fred -- Vinyl records and turntables make unlikely return to retail stores Fred Meyer is the latest chain to stock the retro platters Wednesday, June 04, 2008 JOSEPH ROSE The Oregonian What can you say about the latest product featured in the electronics departments of 60 Fred Meyer stores? Well, here's something: Spin the black circle! The newest piece of merchandise getting display space isn't from the MP3 age but from music's 33 1/3 rpm past. In a sign that vinyl just might be staging a comeback, as this week's issue of Rolling Stone reports, Fred Meyer has started to stock new LPs and turntables. Sure, plenty of Northwest indie shops have stayed true to what many hi-fi enthusiasts insist is the one true way to listen to music, selling used vinyl and systems in the shadows. We're living in a world where few commodities have a spiritual quality, said Eric Isaacson, owner of North Portland's Mississippi Records. A lot of people see vinyl as more of an art piece than just simply background noise. Deep. But now that a big-dog corporate supermarket-retail chain like Fred Meyer is stocking the left-for-dead LP, it appears that a resurrection might indeed be under way. There's a funny little story behind this, said Melinda Merrill, a company spokeswoman. We got back into vinyl by accident. Earlier this spring, someone in charge of ordering CDs for Fred Meyer intended to order a special edition compact disc and DVD set of R.E.M.'s new album Accelerate. But the employee mistakenly clicked the LP option on the electronic order form. Stacks of the R.E.M. vinyl showed up at the warehouse and were sent out to several stores without question. We didn't catch the mistake until the records started showing up in the stores, Merrill said. Puzzled by the boxes of vinyl, most managers sent them back. But a nostalgic few decided to give the retro-product a whirl. A handful of stores figured out ways to display the album, with its skinny, shrink-wrapped 12-inch-by-12 inch packaging. Twenty copies sold on the first day. After a week, 55 had sold. Now Fred Meyer is doing a test in 60 stores, stocking 20 albums, ranging from a reissue of The Beatles' Abbey Road to the new Raconteurs album on premium 180-gram vinyl. They're selling really, really well, Merrill said. The biggest seller is 'Abbey Road.' She added that Fred Meyer stores will likely offer more vinyl releases and different models of high-end turntables that plug into stereo systems, including one with a computer port that allows vinyl-to-MP3 transfer. Sensing the changing mood about the format, Amazon and Best Buy also have started stocking new vinyl titles. But that was a calculated move, unlike Fred Meyer's. I really don't know what to make of it, Merrill said. Isaacson, however, has a pretty good idea about what's happening. He's not persuaded by the argument that everything sounds superior on vinyl. CD technology, he said, has caught up. No, the re-emergence, he said, has more to do with a consumer revolt. It's the usual backlash when the market becomes unresponsive to what people want, Isaacson said. People were forced to buy CDs that have become worthless now that you can download music. The industry chose CDs, the people didn't choose CDs. This much is clear: It's once again safe to lug those old Who and Bob Marley records out of the basement without looking like a dinosaur to your kids. People get ready. Play 'em if you've got 'em. Re: (313) Movement 2007 - Saturday reflections
I have to second you on the sound at the Pyramid stage, it was incredible.. i got trapped in it's sonic boom for hours listening to the sweet sweet sound sof Rhythm and Sound (paraphrasing the MC there ;) Mark and Moritz were pulling out the gems all night, but I have to say, the bass on the Burial Mix tracks towards the end of their session were gut wrenching. My overall first impression of the festival isn't too positive, even though the music was great on the various stages at times (Model 500 - WOW, Kenny Larkin, Shake are always bringing it!), the majority of the crowd left a lot to be desired. A young guy and a girl right next to me in the pit at Model 500 were feeling the rush of their chems, and she proceeded to get down, unzip the dude an well you can only imagine the rest. I guess i'm just not used to going to big festivals anymore, but I've had enough of glowsticks and baby pacifiers to last me a lifetime. Big up the gurner massive. Here's how my day went. 1:15PM - Arrived in downtown Detroit, park in the underground lot where I always park for the festival. It's $10 this year - seems like it wasn't that pricy before. Ah well. 1:20PM - Secure tickets. $26 for a one-day pass. Ouch! Again, more expensive than years past, but oh well. 1:30PM - Park myself directly in front of the stage in the Beatport tent and watch as Pole begins. His first two tracks pretty much melted my face. The bass was staggering, it sounded like the Pole of days past. After that, he veered into what sounded like his newer material, based on the bit I've heard. It was decent - nothing I'd seek out, but enjoyable. He played one track that sounded like Pole's take on west-coast rap instrumentals, with this sort of Moog-sounding synth part. That description might steer you a little off, but it's close, I guess. He finished up with some noisier dub pieces, and it was quite good. A great start to the day's music. 2:30PM - Watch as Sassmouth begins her set in the Beatport stage, and head out after 10 minutes or so. What I heard was fine, but I wanted to check out Higher Intelligence Agency, who was playing on the Pyramid Stage. I meet up with Jeff Kleine, and we head over together. 2:40PM - Oh my. The sound system at the Pyramid Stage is absolutely stunning. The high-frequency drivers literally looked like none I've ever seen before, and the sound is just unreal. Super crisp, clear, plenty loud, and the bass just envelopes you. Each side (left/right) has a front stack, two side stacks, and a rear stack. Standing in the middle is really the sweet spot - the bass hits, you get an awesome sense of the stereo imaging, and it really can't be beat. The music is a great compliment to the system - deep bass and kick drums, clean, clear synth parts, and even some nice field recording noises at times. Bobby Bird (HIA) looks like he's having the time of his life during his set, too. Jeff and I both really enjoy this set. 4:00PM - HIA finally wraps up, and Rhythm Sound starts. This is one I've been anticipating, and there on the stage are two grizzled- looking Berliners, Mark Ernestus and Moritz Van Oswald, with a box of dub 7s and a pair of turntables. A mic and Powerbook lay on the table next to them, awaiting the line-up of 3 toasters who will eventually accompany the pair in their selections. As the set progresses, it becomes clear that they're in no hurry (they have 6 HOURS on this stage, after all) and a steady stream of slow, grooving versions and vocal tracks get played. 4:30PM - Some food is in order, so I skip over to the Ren Cen for an ATM, then back to the festival for a corn dog. M, corn dog! 4:30PM - Back to Rhythm Sound. The toasters are in full effect, though at times they're detracting from the experience - a bit too much banter about rhythm sound, the sound system, feel this experience, etc. I like the DJ role in all this, but I'm here to hear the selectors, too. 5:10PM - Over to the Beatport stage for Losoul. I saw him setting up while Pole finished, and he's got an interesting rig - Sequential Circuits Studio 440 (an ancient sampler that takes floppy disks and has analog filters), a Novation Remote 25 controller, and a laptop. I own a couple of Losoul records that I like, which have some zip and funk to them, but this set turned out to be fairly sterile. Lots of kick drum, synth noise, rinse, repeat. Ho hum. 5:30PM - Back to Rhythm Sound. The vocalists seem better integrated

Re: (313) Movement 2007 - Saturday reflections
The best use of that system was Higher Intelligence Agency, followed by RS. Bobby Bird's set was made for that system. Von Oswald took some time checking it out as they began and it showed. After that it seemed like whomever was tweaking it forgot it wasn't mono after they got hypnotized by the too much %$#@ bass knob. In many cases the system was better than what was coming through it. I walked by that oral doing aural scene as well (one the rim (tee-hee) of the main stage, unless there were more - but I have to say that one thing the admission price DID do was cut the troll doll/pacifier presence this year tremendously (even from last year). It has been far worse in the past than it was this year! Nice meeting you upstairs at the Submerge art show, btw. ;-) jeff Patrick Wacher wrote: I have to second you on the sound at the Pyramid stage, it was incredible.. i got trapped in it's sonic boom for hours listening to the sweet sweet sound sof Rhythm and Sound (paraphrasing the MC there ;) Mark and Moritz were pulling out the gems all night, but I have to say, the bass on the Burial Mix tracks towards the end of their session were gut wrenching. I can't believe how many times would both turn to the other and just say 'wow'. The sound quality and style he was playing just fit so well. I had my money's worth in 10 minutes. yeah, that sound system was the best ive ever heard. the only thing that worries me is that theyll have to equal it every year! RS were *pure* cream and everything else that sounded good was just a plus. Not even the clown jumping around like a dork in Booka Shade or a few technical problems in the 3 Chairs Set could be real detractions (well - that jumping jerk was ;-). I could even have taken a few glowsticks up the side of the head and not been buzzkilled after the way it started. it was kinda disappointing that the best stuff was right at the beginning, and that i missed scan 7, aux 88, and kerri chandler because of rs playing, but they were too much, i couldnt miss any more than i did by skipping out for shake's set. theo murdered it as well, him and rs were the best sets at the actual festival, by far. Rain notwithstanding. I loved Shake's set, but he's (typically) beating himself up over catching some air and dropping a few transitions. I'm sure he's reading the negative reviews and bumming even more. shake killed it. the only reason i left rs is because he is one of my 2 favorite deejays. only he and theo would be able to pull me away. and i am glad he did, he was banging it out in that tent! I am so lucky to live where I do during Memorial Weekend. Lots of other times, too. you are. i really love detroit. tom
Re: (313) Movement 2007 - Saturday reflections
My own reflections on Saturday, which was the only day I was there (besides a breakfast at the clique and a bit of shopping at submerge on Sunday): I arrived when Aux88 were playing. They were pretty good - it was nice to see them singing/vocoding live ('it's time to drop some techo bass!'), and they played a lot of favorites. But something sounded a bit off, not sure what. I missed most of Anthony Shakir. Scan 7 were awesome.. pure pure, unrelenting techno. Octave One were also really good, and way more animated than the last time I saw them live (which was maybe six years ago). If anyone knows what equipment they were using, I'd love to know. King Britt was ok, not completely my thing, but I got the feeling he was playing tracks that fit the 'theme', which was nice of him. Kerri Chandler was pretty much what you'd expect and the bits I caught were really good. I only watched the beginning of the moodymann show, but it was pretty underwhelming. They had a mediocre opening song, then played some breakdown over and over again with little bits of different tracks in between. Byt I really enjoyed hearing them cover blake baxter 'in the garden'. I had just been listening to that a couple of days before for the first time in years. I wouldn't be surprised if it got a lot better later on, but unfortunately I had to leave. R S were pretty good. I didn't spend too much time there, but, as others said, the sound system was great. It was a nice vibe too for sure. The sound in the main arena was also really good. The sound in the detroit tent sounded like sh$t sometimes, but sounded very good when scan 7 and octave one were playing. I also went to the soul skate. It didn't feel like it had any connection to the festival, but it was a lot of fun and if I was there the whole weekend would have been the perfect break. I don't know if kdj was actually spinning anything though as the tracks were unmixed and could've been played by anyone. They played shari vari though, that was cool. Jamil

Nothing from the Burial Mix catalog (what I would give to hear Ruff Way or Never Tell You!), but a good dub vibe. Fred Heutte is here now, too, and we all vibe off RS. 6:00PM - Over to the Real Detroit tent to hear Anthony Shake Shakir. Shake had kind of a rough set - his multiple sclerosis seems to have made a lot of the necessary energy and fine movements difficult, but there were glimpses of his stunning past DJ sets in this set, bits like finding the groove in doubles of Rob Hood's internal empire and working it, or dropping Shades of Jae at just the right time. It was great to see him really having fun, though there was also obvious frustration at times, too (partly due to what I think was an unfamiliar mixer, or possibly something wrong with it). I've said it in the past, and I'll say it again - I just love Shake, and I really enjoyed seeing him play. Shake, if you read this - you made my day playing your Frictional records today. You've been a huge inspiration to me musically. Keep it up! 7:00PM - As I walk back to the car, the rain starts to come down with slightly more force. It's held off all day, but is finally starting to rain, and I watch the lights, and the people, and hear the thud of kick

Re: (313) London SPAM: Ultradyne and B12 Friday, Lory D and Errorsmith Saturday
Lory D is the man ;) He created some really cool acid-techno. He was closely involved with that early italian experimental techno sound like the releases on Plasmek and Final Frontier. I don't recall him ever releasing on those labels but just mentioning them here as audio reference ;) If i call correctly rephlex re-released some of his earlier material a couple of years back. Re: (313) London SPAM: Ultradyne and B12 Friday, Lory D and Errorsmith Saturday
yes, he IS the man. he had a seminal label called Sounds Never Seen and also a small imprint called Elektronische Outboarding Cast on which he released a killer electro 12. IIRC correctly ha also released material on the now legendary roman label ACV (Robert Armani released on ACV as well...). He is seen somewhat as a god here in rome, since the heydays of the roman rave scene back in the day. The Rephlex release is a collection of his best releases on SNS as well as 2 original tracks i think. He has started playing live again after a break and he has returned to form - expect dirty techno, electro and chicago inspired sound. fab. - Original Message - From: Klaas-Jan Jongsma [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: 313 Mailinglist List 313@hyperreal.org Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2007 5:31 PM Subject: Re: (313) London SPAM: Ultradyne and B12 Friday, Lory D and Errorsmith Saturday Lory D is the man ;) He created some really cool acid-techno. Thanks again Ken! As you say, not in the recorded set. As it turns out that was the first time I'd mixed anything from the Convextion album, so if it worked in that context it was more chance than intuition or special hearing. :) I actually don't recall which tracks I played. well, i wish i could say it was a blast, but i missed all but the last half hour of c2's set :( it was raining and nasty all afternoon driving down, and about the first thing i hear once i get to the dancefloor is strings of life. carl was letting every track play out, so he only dropped two or three more tracks by the time 7PM rolled around and rhythm and sound came on. they played all dub tracks as expected (some people i have talked to since were apparently expecting rs to play techno). i don't even think they played any of their own stuff. they never really mixed between tracks; they'd just cut real quick or turn out the huge wall of sound effects. sound system was great, much better than the crummy system at the providence noise fest the night before :) -- matt kane's brain http://hydrogenproject.com aim - mkbatwerk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
RE: (313) carl craig and rhythmsound last saturday
You missed the best part of C2 set. I started to lose interest towards the end as well. He played some Paperclip People stuff earlier, some Mills (The Bells a cut from the b-side earlier then that... Alarms maybe?), and a track from Martin Buttrichs's new release on Planet E. It was nice to see some head out as the weather did suck. RS was not what I expected either , we left shortly into their set. RE: (313) carl craig and rhythmsound last saturday
I caught Rhythm Sound in Chicago, and I thought they were great. Their set was in the tradition of Jamaican sound systems, hence the lack of mixing. I'm pretty sure there were a bunch of custom edits. They were playing on a laptop with Serato. There were some really amazing riddims as they got deep into digital dub late in the set. Some of the dubs were pretty close to their techno output. I did a brief report for Gridface here: http://www.gridface.com/features/hero_worship.html I wish I could have stayed until 3:00, but I had to leave Santa Fe at 5:00 a.m. to get to Chicago. Cheers, Jacob Jason Trolian wrote: You missed the best part of C2 set. I started to lose interest towards the end as well.
