that two ppl r not ripping same. Take a lot of care when you do these
rips. Remember it doesnt matter how many movies you can rip, the ones
you rip should be flawless which is the most important thing

** My inspiration for starting to rip BGMs have been Kaissom and
Vithur. I think they are the one who introduced this. My thanks to

Ashutosh Gowariker is ready with his next script WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE? based
on a novel called Kimball Ravenswood by Madhu Rye. This announcement comes
with Jodhaa Akbar's 100 days in theatres. The film is slated to go on floors
in November 2008 in Mumbai.

The maverick director has always been admired for his creative,
well-researched and grandeur style of filmmaking. This time he is ready to
lure his audiences with a romantic comedy.

The lead cast for WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE? is finalized with the yet to debut
Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra.

Commenting on making a romantic comedy, Ashutosh Gowariker said, " It is a
genre that I have always loved, my most favorite ones being Roman Holiday,
When Harry Met Sally, all of Frank Capra, amongst several others. I am also
a great fan of Chupke Chupke and all the romantic comedies of Hrishikesh
Mukherji and Basu Chatterji. It is a genre that I had always wanted to
attempt and now I have got the opportunity to do so through WHAT'S YOUR
RAASHEE?

Rest of the Cast and Crew is being finalized.

KS Ravikumar's condition to Sarath Kumar!!*

I think you all aware that next to Dasavatharam, KS Ravikumar is going to do
Jaggubhai with Sarath Kumar, which was made for Superstar and abandoned due
to some reasons.

Sarath Kumar okayed instantly the script in the thought that, "We couldn't
come like Rajini. At least we shall act in his script!!" Ha...ha…ha…

When
Ravi decided to do Jaggubhai with Sarath, I worried a little bit that Sarath
may ask Ravi to use the mannerisms which was tailor made for Superstar when
the original script was made ready in 2004.

But reports say that KS Ravikumar has clearly said to Sarath that he won't
use the mannerisms he made for Superstar and only story and script will be
used.

Good decision Ravi. And this is called 'professional ethics.'

*Note1:* Though Jaggubhai was dropped at post-discussion stage, Superstar
paid hefty package as compensation to those all who concerned in the
discussion of the abandoned project. This includes Ravikumar, Ramesh Khanna
and others who spent their time for discussion and other things. Even AR
Rahman was paid since he composed a song for Jaggubhai. Do you know which
song is that? It is none other than the song "Aararai kodi paergalil oruvan"
which was later used in SJ Surya's Ah…Aah…(hmmm we missed a wonderful
song!!!)

*Note2:* KS Ravikumar and Rajini are still good friends despite this
abandonment and some other happenings. Superstar skipped Dasa audio launch
just because of its producer and his attitude.


*How is Sultan shaping out?*

If you want a one word answer for this, it is: Wow!!

Just read the following news piece from yesterday's Deccan Chronicle.

//Soundarya Rajinikant will not only produce Billa 2, but will also direct
it. She is apparently all set to wear the director's hat for the very first
time.

The decision was taken after the superstar's daughter approached Vishnu
Vardhan (who directed Billa ) to direct the sequel but when he asked for Rs
5 crores, she was little hesitant to take it further. Sources reveal that
Vishnu's explanation was that when Ajith can be paid a big amount of Rs 10
crore for the film, shouldn't he deserve at least half of it? Soundarya
quickly changed her mind and decided to direct the film herself. After all,
the pretty lady is already making the mega animated flick Sultan the Warrior
with her dad Rajinikant in the lead. According to insiders Soundarya was so
gung-ho about setting out on directing this film that she decided to show
the rushes of her animated film Sultan … to Ajith. Pleased by the approach
and narration, Ajith is believed to have immediately given his nod to work
with her. The project is likely to take off sometime in June next year, once
Ajith finishes his forthcoming films Aegan and Soundarya finishes Sultan.//

If a top actor like Ajith okays to direct his film just after watching a few
scenes and rushes of Sultan, then think how the film would be? Surely
'Amazing'…isn't it?

Initially many raised questions about the quality of graphics and other
technical aspects regarding Sultan. No worry mates…the film is getting ready
in international standards and it will rock the box-office of multiplexes.

to hear people's first impressions because I think they are 
important.  Impressions may change, but I do like to hear about the 
initial impact, even with Rahman's music which takes time to grow on

And the JTYJN Cassette is released. I have seen the cd but Music world
People told me that there are strict instruction not 2 release the cd till
tomorrow. for this reason they haven't kept the cd code on the Cd Cover..

[arr] BGMs I will Rip in LOSSLESS FLAC

For now, I will rip Sivaji and Kandukondein Kandukondein as lossless,
voiceless BGMs. The reason for the list being small is because I dont
have original ayngarans of many films. I only want to rip BGMs from
DVD9 since the audio is compressed in DVD5 (therefore not lossless). I
suggest if people are going to be doing these lossless BGMs, then they
do it with DVD9 (dts if available or obviously dd). We want to have
the BEST!!! I will write a detailed tutorial in my next post.

Mumbai (PTI): Bollywood star Aamir Khan will launch the music of his home
production `Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na' by presenting the first copy of the
music CD to veteran actor Shammi Kapoor on Monday.

A lavish music launch has been planned for the film in which Aamir Khan's
nephew Imran Khan is making his debut.

However, the superstar said instead of a lavish party, he would rather make
it a more intimate affair by seeking Kapoor's blessings and presenting him
with a copy of the film's music composed by A R Rehman.

Aamir said Kapoor is his lucky mascot and has been seeking his blessings
since his own film debut in late 1980s. More recently, Aamir had visit
Kapoor at his residence and presented him the first copy of the music of his
directorial debut `Taare Zameen Par'.

Aamir said the veteran actor is an old family friend having worked in
classics like `Teesri Manzil 'and `Tum Sa Nahi Dekha', produced by his uncle

Hi there
Finally, the Mumbai fans met on Saturday, 16 April
2005. 
After a lot of discussions & constant reminders abt
the venue & date of meet, we kept the gathering at my
residence (as we wanted to listen to music).Of what
use is an ARRfans meet without ARR's Music???
I always thought that Mumbai must be havin the largest
no of fans..but I was wrong. We were expecting many
people to participate this time but only 9 of us could
make it. Thats not the point...but we had a gala
evening, an unforgettable one. 
Slowly as the hour passed by, people started comin in.
Finally the no settled to 9. We started listening to
Bose & gradually we listened to almost all ARR albums.
It was overwhelming to invite fans' views & their
personal favourites. We also had a Music Composer
amongst us, Mr.Sachin Sanghvi, who has given music for
a lot of Hindi & Gujarati plays n serials. He was
enlightening us on the techniques of composing &
recording & how ARR layers his sounds n comes out with
different sound patterns. We met at 7 pm & the session
came to an end at 10.30 when we realised that we r
hungry! We wanted the time to stand still for ages n
ages. That was the day when we all unanimously agreed
that our lives wud be totally meaningless & mundane
without ARR's magical music. We summed up the
gathering by having a good meal...each one taking home
the memories of this wonderful experience of knowing
new people & rediscovering ARR!
Thanx to all fans who participated & also those who
cudnt due to their personal or professional
committments. But we want to continue meeting atleast
once a month or in 2 months. Please send in ur
valuable comments & suggestions so that we can always
implement them when we meet next time.

start his next film after Jodhaa Akbar. And this time round, Gowariker is 
planning a quickie. The director is believed to have brought the rights of an 
English play and is currently adapting it into a screenplay for a movie. And 
the news doing the rounds is that he has signed on Harman Baweja, who is yet to 
make his debut, and his beloved Priyanka Chopra, to play the lead in his movie.
Ashutosh's forthcoming film is being labeled a romantic comedy. This will mark 
a departure from the kind of films that he has directed in the past. All of 
them beginning with Lagaan and going on to Swades and Jodhaa Akbar, have been 
mounted on an epic scale. But this time round, Gowariker wants to change things 
by making a light hearted, quickie. The film is believed to based on a play 
which is about the traditional arranged marriage system, as it is prevalent in 
India. Gowariker had seen the rushes and promos of Harry Baweja's Love Story 
2050 and was impressed with what he saw of Harman that he signed him on. The 
film, which will be a co production between Ashutosh Gowariker Productions and 
UTV Motion Pictures, is expected to go on the floors by the end of the year. It 
will be shot in Mumbai and certain foreign locales.

   Aamir Khan is leaving no stone unturned to give nephew Imran Khan the 
perfect launch in his debut film Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. The film's promos have 
already created some excitement and people are now eagerly looking forward to 
the music release. 

But instead of going the conventional way and having a grand music launch, 
Aamir is planning to make it a more intimate affair. The actor would be 
officially releasing the film's music by going to legendary actor Shammi 
Kapoor's house on May 20 and seeking his blessings. 

Apart from being an old family friend (Shammi Kapoor having worked in Nasir 
Hussain classics like Teesri Manzil and Tumsa Nahin Dekha), Aamir considers 
Shammiji as his lucky mascot and has been seeking his blessings right from his 
debut film. 

Even recently for his maiden directorial venture, Taare Zameen Par, Aamir had 
gone to seek Shammiji's blessings with the first copy of the music CD. 

Talking about his love and respect for Shammi Kapoor saab, Aamir says, 
"Shammiji's blessings are important. He has been a guiding force since a long 
time and has been very close to our family. It's kind of a ritual for us to go 
and present him the first copy of the music. This time it's Imran's launch and 
it's all the more important"

   Ashutosh Gowariker is ready with his next script What's Your Raashee? based 
on a novel called 'Kimball Ravenswood' by Madhu Rye. This announcement comes 
with Jodhaa Akbar's 100 days in theatres. The film is slated to go on floors in 
November 2008 in Mumbai.

The maverick director has always been admired for his creative, well-researched 
and grandeur style of filmmaking. This time he is ready to lure his audiences 
with a romantic comedy. 

The lead cast for What's Your Raashee? is finalized with the yet to debut 
Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra. 

Commenting on making a romantic comedy, Ashutosh Gowariker said, “It is a genre 
that I have always loved, my most favorite ones being Roman Holiday, When Harry 
Met Sally, all of Frank Capra, amongst several others. I am also a great fan of 
Chupke Chupke and all the romantic comedies of Hrishikesh Mukherji and Basu 
Chatterji. It is a genre that I had always wanted to attempt and now I have got 
the opportunity to do so through What's Your Raashee? 

Rest of the Cast and Crew is being finalized. 

The film is presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions 
and will be jointly produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Sunita A.Gowariker.

[arr] “ADA” is a story of a SPIRITUAL Father, a NOBLE Mother and a GANGSTER Son.

The word "ADA" has various meanings, and it depends upon every
individual to interpret it in his or her own way. For example, few
understand it as a mannerism, for others it signifies a particular
attribute and for others it simply means "a way of life."

This story depicts the various role-plays of an individual's life that
consists of basic human emotions like love, anger, deceit, ambition,
self- sacrifice and above all the understanding between good and evil.

LOVE is God's gift to mankind. Like every mother in this world, Aamina
is a loving, caring, compassionate mother committed with warmth filled
in her heart she cherishes every moment spent with her husband Anil
and relives it by sharing it with her only son Ayaan.

Professor Anil Anand is a well read and spiritual individual who was
writing a book that would guide the coming generations on a righteous
path. Unfortunately while writing this book he came across an incident
where he needed to testify against the biggest don of the city. This
lead him to realize that life is not as how he thought it would be.
That's when he realized that society would not change with his pen
only. Anil as an individual was fearless as he had conviction in his
ideas; a spiritually bent person who preached Sufism as well as
practiced it in his daily life. As Anil realized that his life is
coming to an end cause the underworld is out to kill him before he
testifies, he spends more of his time with his son, bestowing his
knowledge on him.

Anil tells Ayaan that if he needs to cleanse the world of all evils,
then he would need to remove the fear from himself and put that same
fear in the hearts of every evil person in this world and if needed
drop the pen and lift up a gun. Anil is a classic example of
self-sacrifice who lost his life because he stood for good and
believed that good always triumphs over evil. So from that point on
Ayaan's only aim is to make sure he does what his father taught him.
AMBITION is the zeal to accomplish one's goal. Fighting all odds on
the doctrines of his father Ayaan eventually starts leading a dual
life, as an ordinary individual on one hand and a sharp shooter who
turns the worst of circumstances to his favor by joining the
underworld. Ayaan has only one ambition in life, which is to fulfill
his father's last words to him. His fearlessness becomes his weapon
and his belief his shield, not even his unconditional love for his
beloved Gul comes in his way of his ambition. Ayaan lives for his
mother, his friends and his father's dream, which is to guide mankind
on a righteous path. A path full of goodness, truthfulness, kindness,
