hi guys, can anyone please help me out with these songs...??? 1. the unreleased habibi track from Tehzeeb. 2. i have the entire bgm of Uyire (tamil of Dil Se), but i need the hindi version of vinmingal thandi.. which goes like..sitaron se aage jahan aur bhi hai, abhi ishq ke intehan aur bhi hain..meherbaan sung by Sukhwinder Singh. 3. the last is a non-arr track, but itz very very Rahmantic to the core. itz by Vidyasagar. the song is hum aur tum jane kab kaise aaye pyar ke itne karib sung by Hariharan for the movie Durga staring J.D.Chakrabarthy. the movie was hardly noticed, later i found out that itz simply a dubbed version of the telugu film Soori. the telugu version sung by S.P.B is available for download, but i need the hindi one. itz so Rahmantic, u can listen it for urself in musicindiaonline.com. I completely agree with u. I am not sure where can it go wrong. Last time when the same team came together for Naani, it wasnt this bad. Whenever he liked the sound of any word, he used to pick that word and played around and made tunes out of that. While composing the songs of Gulzar's film Aandhi, when RD came across the word Nasheman, he loved it and insisted on using it. He didnt know the meaning and remarked Yeh Nasheman kaunsa Shehar Hai yaar. Gulzar used it as Tinkon Ke Nasheman tak, is mod se jaathe hai. In short, it would be even more wonderful of sound of the words are given equal priority with diction, pronunciation and meaning. My all time favourite was Late Rajasri, who wrote lyrics for initial albums of ARR. He wrote them in such a way that we never felt that they were dubbed films. So much of lyrical value and depth in thought, that I never wanted a tamil version of Roja or Donga Donga. Among all singers, I think only Chitra knows Telugu (though she is from Kerala...), out of experience. Thats quite sad, because it might be an ARR album, but ultimately, it is a Telugu film and One would like to understand what is being sung. To sum up, I wish this album came in Tamil(because I dont understand Tamil). Because It is easy to listen to a language that we cannot understand, than to listen to a language we know and still cant follow or rather cringe at the butchering of the language with accents, robbing the whole nativity that is essential. I don't think it's just about familiarity and exposure...there are distinctly different regional tastes, modes, sounds and styles in both soundtracks as well, so some may prefer one over the other, which is fine. To say one version is better than the other is PURELY based on one's preference and taste with exposure and familiarity not adding much to that. From an Indian Composer's perspective it is futile if random pieces from his brilliant (released) score is plagiarized for Television Soaps and commercials as Copyright laws are not strictly being adhered to. Seriously, motion picture soundtracks should consist not only songs but scores as well. The problem is because of the underlying fact that in Indian music industry songs are used to promote the movie even before the movie is complete and thus there is no possibility of releasing scores with the songs. Music labels have nothing to do in this because it's the movie producers who own the rights of the score with the movie. I wonder why movie producers are not interested to invest time and money in releasing motion picture soundtrack after the movie release. Let's hope we get a solution soon. Swaps, I think this album is meant for international audience to introduce Rahman's best works after success of SDM. Dear Film producers of ARR Films, I make a sincere request to all of you to give DVD / VCD Rights for the films that you are producing with ARR as the Music Director. I know I cant ask for the BGMs. Thats Ok. with God Grace, I can rip them myself, but I very badly neeed VCDs or DVDs of movies done by ARR. I am deeply frustrated searching for Uzhavan VCD or DVD, Kabhi Na Kabhi VCD, Gangmaster, Nippuravva everywhere. Hopefully, one day I will get all these. These movies were totally unheard of , and its a pity that ARR's wonderful BGMs have gone unnoticed, or unheard of even by fan members. In this regard, I must say, that Dir. Shankar and Dir Maniratnam movies get DVD rights and all their movies so far have been released in DVDs also. Producer K.T. Kunjomohan who produced movies like Kadhalan, Gentleman, Kadhal desam, Ratchagan must also be thanked, as even though the movies bombed ( Ratchagan), we have the DVDs of these movies. But when u review our Boss' Ghajini, pls do not drag Harris into the picture. It is very insulting to us, fans of a legend. Concentrate on the music element of each song rather than comparing them. I know many would be doing this in the days to come. But i request to u all not to do this. By the way, Ghajini needs LOT of time to grow. So don't jump into conclusions. Wait for the magic to unfold gradually. We rahmaniacs are so lucky to enjoy the magic in a few listenings. And Thank God for RAHMAN. Music is really enriching. I differ from opinion... Being an ardent ARR fan, does not necessarily
make you deserve more than what other fans do...
It's despicable to make such requests to ARR. You go and meet him;
convey your love for his music; get two or three CDs and give it to
others; give your feedback in a constructive way.. But asking him to
perform only in front of 1000-5000 people – I must say – is
outrageous. Please remember that not only this 5K-10K people form his
fan base. We contribute only not even one percentage - and I am sure
not even half of the members of this group buy his CDs. But we all
have the privilege of using computers; having internet connection;
being part of the group that has ARR's close associates as members.
But I strongly believe that there are millions of people out there who
love his music more than what we do . May be, they are in villages
without knowing what computer is; may be in cities without having
computer knowledge. But sure they love his music more than what we do.
They need to be appreciated.
I wish ARR performs a free-entry concert, one day, for all of his fans
- as he did in Nagapattinam. But not a private performance just for a

Arthi, You have a few valid points - People over hyping the release of the album , posting reviews within hours after music is out etc . But you just cannot say that people should nt express their views . Esp the negative ones. If you are telling me that ATM songs can match Rahman's usual standard, you must be kidding me. I am not saying it is the worst. The songs in the album are good in parts. Every song has good bits in them . But the completeness you associate with Rahman's song is surely not there. To keep it short, you might hear the songs for maximum one or two months. Then these songs will die. Even albums like JOK, Ah Aah had couple of classic songs in them. I cant point out a single one as being in that league. Kealamal could have been one, but again the arrangment of the song takes away the charm. This I am saying after hearing all the songs for over 50 times. None of us here would like to bash rahman when an album comes. They would nt have joined the grp at the first place if they wanted to do it. But still you have to accept criticism , esp constructive ones. All we are saying is Sachin can make a duck for 3 innings together. But still we would stand by him and wait for the magical knock in the fourth one !! some points: 1) For me any album by Rahman irrespective of languages is a festive season I think almost all the members here are thinking in same way. 2) Any kind of Rahman's music can be analysed by members who has some music knowledge... we eagarly wait for that... eg. Swapnil's analysis on any song if somebody doesn't like it he/she can skip the mail... here nobody is forcing anybody to read each and every line of a mail. 3) Rahman's music critisism is required, however good music it would be... otherwise how can Rahman will understand what his the change is required with time... we Rahman fans can clearly understand the changes from Roja to RDB... original post is all about stopping the comments about Sivaji audio for the
time being as the audio is not yet officially released..If you are supporting
the request join me..We are talking about the useless fellows who leaked the
audio..Should we commenting about the audio that is released by that pirates? I
