[AsburyPark] Monster Killing Kittens
I am still extremely upset over the heartbreaking story which was released yesterday about the sadistic monster who has killed so many kittens, cats and God knows what else. I was at the Monmouth County Jail yesterday with some of the poor people who had fallen prey to this sicko's con and given him cherished little friends who for some reason they could not keep or thought they were finding a good home for. Even an investigator who has been caring for 3 colonies for 15 years was almost tricked by this animal!!! Someone had called us at Madison Marquette this week and warned us about a man named Anthony who was adopting cats and kittens from different people. Thank God we did not fall into his scheme or I would be in jail myself for torture and murder of this P.O.S I do not even want to call him an animal because he is not worthy of a name of a species I love. Because of her lifelong experience with animals Irene Mottola was able to warn me of horrible human predators who might try and adopt one of our special Boardwalk friends. I am very lucky to have Irene and Gary as my friendsnot only have they made it financially possible to make a little difference in rescuing our unfortunate little orphans but they have given their heart and soul into loving and caring for them. So many of you are also animal lovers and I want to thank you for all you do. I am very blessed to have so many in my life who love and care about animals---To me this is the real meaning of Christmas---Giving of yourself for others. Thank You and give your pets or a friends pet or a lonely stray an extra little hug today---They can give you a very rare and special gift ---The best gift of all--Unconditional Love!!!

400 scientists have issued a joint report disagreeing with all the man-made Global Warming claims. I particularly am interested in these three paragpraphs, which I have read in other places as well: The report's authors expect some of the scientists will recant their remarks under intense pressure from the public and from within professional circles to conform to the global-warming theory, a committee staffer said. Several scientists in the report said many colleagues share their skepticism about man-made climate change but don't speak out publicly for fear of retribution, according to the report. Many of my colleagues with whom I spoke share these views and report on their inability to publish their skepticism in the scientific or public media, atmospheric scientist Nathan Paldor, professor of Dynamical Meteorology and Physical Oceanography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, said in the report. http://www.washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article? The smartest thing i've seen pertaining to the issue of global warming was a NY Times interview with a Coast Guard officer who's in charge of keeping waterways clear in the Alaskan area. He stated that icebergs and sea ice are melting and fragmenting more in the past year or two then during his entire 20 plus years in service. He also said that the science is too complicated for him to discuss because he doesn't fully understand it, and it would be irresponsible to comment. He relies on real world observations. Swiftboater Deniers for Hire among Climate Quibblers. More than the usual Whac-a-Mole, the bit about quoted out of context is a heads-up for me. From 400 Prominent Scientists Dispute Global Warming - Bunk | DeSmogBlog http://www.desmogblog.com/400-prominent-scientists-dispute-global-warmi\ ng-bunk 21 Dec 07 Climate change denial lives - though not nearly to the extent that Swiftboater http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Swiftboating Marc Morano http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Marc_Morano would have you believe in his latest overstatement about prominent scientists who dispute man-made global warming. Morano's list of over 400 alleged climate quibblers includes the usual deniers for hire Fred Singer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Singer , Tim Ball http://www.desmogblog.com/directory/quick/ , Christoper Monckton, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Monckton,_3rd_Viscount_Monckto\ n_of_Brenchley PR people who have no credibility on issues scientific and who each have a handsome record of saying things widely and demonstrably at variance with the truth. There is also a group of second-order scientists, who are not scientists at all. There's Dr. Richard Courtney http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Richard_S._Courtney , a British coal journal editor whose PhD is rumoured to have issued from a Crackerjack box. There's Stephen McIntyre http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Stephen_McIntyre , the one-time mining promoter and amateur statistician who has earned unending fame by constantly attacking the same, remarkably resilient climate reconstruction http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hockey_stick_controversy . There's the climate quibbler's latest star, Dr. John Mclean http://n3xus6.blogspot.com/2007/12/show-me-credentials.html , apparently another amateur who has neither a PhD nor any specific training in climate science. One might also legitimately question whether a panel of TV weather forecasters actually qualify as prominent scientists. Finally, Morano includes a group of legitimate scientists who are not deniers at all, but who are often quoted out of context. For example, Morano quotes Dr. Eigil Friis-Christensen http://www.desmogblog.com/scientists-suggest-that-swindle-fudged-data , Director of the Danish National Space Centre offering this banal statement of the obvious: The sun is the source of the energy that causes the motion of the atmosphere and thereby controls weather and climate. Any change in the energy from the sun received at the Earth's surface will therefore affect climate. Morano, however, neglects to mention that Dr. Friis-Christensen says, quite clearly, that change is solar radiation CANNOT be demonstrated to have caused the climate change of recent years http://folk.uio.no/nathan/web/statement.html . In fact, he says: There is no reason to neglect a contribution from man made greenhouse gases. Giving credit where it's due, Morano is a tireless and creative writer of fiction. His long screed on this occasion links liberally back to his early bouts of disinformation, making it appear as though he actually has legitimate sources for many of the points that he makes. And this list of 400 includes many names that are new to the DeSmogBlog - people whose qualifications and true positions are difficult to ascertain four days before Christmas. But given the quality and credibility of Morano's previous work, it seems fair to assume that this, too, is an ideologically driven document with no merit whatsoever, either as a piece of research of, even more laughably, a reliable comment on science. A 2007 Newsweek http://groups.yahoo.com/wiki/Newsweek cover story on climate change denial http://groups.yahoo.com/wiki/Climate_change_denial reported that: In April 1998 a dozen people from the denial machine including the Marshall Institute http://groups.yahoo.com/wiki/George_C._Marshall_Institute , Fred Singer's group and Exxon met at the American Petroleum Institute's http://groups.yahoo.com/wiki/American_Petroleum_Institute Washington headquarters. They proposed a $5 million campaign, according to a leaked eight-page memo, to convince the public that the science of global warming is riddled with controversy and uncertainty. The plan was reportedly aimed at raising questions about and undercutting the 'prevailing scientific wisdom' on climate change. According to Newsweek, the plan was leaked to the press and therefore was never implemented.[25] http://groups.yahoo.com/%20_note-newsweekdenialmachine === Oh what a tangled web we weave When first we practice to deceive. - Sir Walter Scott

[AsburyPark] Mallina's December 20th Coaster Article Posted at asburypark.net
There is a lot to comment on, but just like her other articles, she tends to leave out a great deal when it suits her. I like how the piece is ment to jab at Keady for the most part, but she easily forgets to mention the other unnamed council member(Loffredo)she disagrees with. Also, she goes on to criticize some of Keady's campaign contributors because they are the old Asbury Park power brokers according to her, yet she avoids the fact that ten of thousands of dollars to the Sanders, Bruno, Loffredo and Johnson ticket came from New York. Those donations more reflect outside influences. Yahoo! It does bring you back to that. In the beginning, there is a scene with a problem with the ACLU and a nativity scene at a firehouse in his home distric in texas thought of you. Yahoo!
