@Dark I knew that was you last night, recognized your writing style right off. Yeah, as someone just getting started, the deck is stacked against you, You kind of have to hunt them down and kill them, and then go to a roid, decloak and all that and land, then anchor.It is very imbalanced, as are many things in the game. They need someone with the time and patience to make fine tuning adjustments and stuff. I think they should look to the HTPL's and pick one who might want to take a step up, I actually had someone in mind, but yeah, not my place. but someone who can become a host and then would be trusted to balance things out, because we need it. CR is a great game, but can be very frustrating at times, especially when you're first starting out.Also, this whole thing about soloing, well, you can do it, but CR is a roleplay game and you have more fun that way. I could take you out and get you doing this stuff, We'd be fighting biggger enemies, but you c
 ould learn combat with a ship that can take a bit of punishment.

Dark. I agreed that ships do need a bit of work done to them. Have you tried typing field as soon as you launch from the roid? That should pull you out of that field and allow you to adjust your autostop and other things in such away you do not enter any fields or the like on the way back to the beacon station. That may need a bit of carefull timing for you. Another thing, you do have a ship in your docking bay so that you can get yourself on to the beacon station to take care of that roid? I am not to sure if teleporting down would help in this case. As for weapons, ask on around on comms, there are weapons that you should beable to install your self. I just do not know the level of said weapon and you may not have access to them. Have you got the micro drones for your ship? I will have to go look to see at what level you get these, but these take hits for your ship and do need replacing from time to time, but they should buy you time to raise shields defense systems and cloke. A
 lso, you ever wonder why say david never done stars? I can tell you that there is of the reason of trying to figure out exzackly what the timing is before blowing up. After all, you got to set your course and hit the warp drive ASAP to live there.

Well my character is akrinax pearl grey scale in game, though I'd prefer to work things out myself. I'm currently level 159, and am working through the activities in sequence to try everything.This business of  upgrades and combat is again  why I got mildly frustrated with the game and quit since it seemed there was no way to get into activities I'd not tried. Asteroid hauling is available at level 110, and yet the only ship with any survival value is the asteroid hauler because it's the only one with a cloak, and that was even before the change to combat which now seems to make knowing the coordinates of enemies impossible. I have level 5 I believe in weaponry skill, but I've not even seen! any ships with weapons better than the lasers and beam cannon, missiles  of no use at  since I cannot use them from my control room, and besides flying anywhere without a cloak =  death, including decloaking to haul the dam asteroi
 ds, this aside from the fact that trying harvesting, debris collecting or anything else in an asteroid hauler involves buying room upgrades and then building the cargo bay (which means buying yet another drone and more plates since god knows where my last one has gone). I do like the games' upgrade system, but the combat needs maajor! work (the help file is really inadequate), ships need some huge rebalancing to actually give people the tools to perform activities at the levels  are supposed to do them, and there really! needs to be a way to avoid  all that tedius wandering around so many dam shops to get the sodding upgrades.Okay, rant orver. I suppose I will try the game again, though god knows what I should try in ship terms, since   whether the ship has a cloak is really the only decent thing a ship can have and everything else needs to be bought as an upgrade.

Let's what I can answer for you dark. As for the doughnut, buy another from that man you got it from in the first time. Food gets old and disappear within game. Now for you upgrade question, get a factory. one of the rooms that you can add to a factory is a drydock. Drydocks allow you to save the profile of your ship. This means that you can reconstruct a replacement when ever you wish. I think that there are some factories within game that will do that job for you for a price if you wish. Drydocks also allow for rebuilding of rooms that have been touched by fire if needed. As for those astraroid fields, all I can tell you is to use the drones. Another note worth noting is that some factories will sell you weapons and the like to install on to your ship. You could say that if you see david Brooks around, you might find that he can be some what helpfull at the vary least.

well I decided to give the game another try since the farming and such sounds cool accept that I ran into problems. First, I seem to be in the middle of the starship quest with a vanished doughnut. Second and more urgently I have a planetary delivery chain  requested me to go to recycler number something or other, and apparently recyclers aren't open to players. I did submit an assist but I don't think any admins are available. third, so I decide to go and try some asteroid harvesting and hauling and find that combat is now even more impossible than it was since now it's impossible to get the coordinates of enemy ships without them being within targeting range, and I cant' get within targeting range because I can't know their coordinates etc etc. So predicrably I drop the cloak on my hauler to begin roid hauling  predictably, my ship is dead within about five seconds. It actually seems that for all there ar
 e so called combat ships and mining ships and so many dam other sorts of ships basically combat is have a cloak or die, and the only ship with a cloak is the asteroid hauler. This also means yet more  around from shop to shop buying upgrades after upgrade. I actually don't mind losing the money (a few ground combat missions get it back nicely), but there is s much to buy and build (including a new cargo expantion drone),  it actually makes the shopping part really! boring. So firstly, how the hell is combat supposed to work? secondly, is it possible to actually survive without a bloody cloak, and thirdly, could we please! have an option to create an upgrade profile somewhere so if we get a ship go boom we just go and get the profile back without having to go and buy upgrades for each mineral type,  asteroid equipment, debris lines, extra cargo bay (because of course the one ship with a cloak doesn't have a cargo bay), etc etc.S
 orry to complain, but it's mildly disappointing to lose probably my fifth ship in this way, and face the prospect of yet  wandering around from shop to shop stocking up on the same old gear again just to try next time,  quite aside from the fact that combat as I said seems pretty much a circula impossibility (even with a cloak).

I am not great with time based activities, but from what I read in the help file, the timing would make sense. Now if I can fine away in and out without diing. I also need to get around to doing stars to. That is also something I ment to try but never have As a side note, is it just me or are you making the placement of my factory good for me for a change dardar? Do you have the mudname set to Cosmic Rage on your char setup screen in vipmud? It needs to be set to "Cosmic Rage". Here is what I got my setting set too. The only thing difference between 1.1 and 2.0 of vipmud is the location of the vipmud directory.  In short, you will be following steps one and two with the directory being under my documents instead of anywhere else. As for your direct question, yes you do put your soundpack directly into the vipmud folder. In the zip archive I got, this means that everything that is under the soundpack folder in the zip archive except the sync files goes directly into your vipmud folder while you answering yes to the prompts. The pack I have, has a sounds folder and a Cosmic Rage folder under a soundpack folder within the archive. Anyway, you want the sounds folder and the Cosmic Rage folder out of the pack and right in to your vipmud folder. HTH.

You need the sounds placed inte Cosmic Rage folder under sounds, and you need the scripts placed under the the Cosmic Rage folder. So, it will be sound\Cosmic Rage for sounds and Cosmic Rage for scripts. HTH. Oh yes, you will need to double check the mu name field in your connections setting to make sure it is set to Cosmic Rage. HTH.

Umm... You guys have to fix something in the mcl file: of corse it's easy but, just for the info, remove this saving logs path. It gives us an error, cause we're not Jesica   And, seems I got banned in Cr, cause my client was making strange things: it was sending something, after what the game were saying invalid entry etc. But the thing is, I don't know what was that, and more, I don't know how to stop it or control. I just followed the instructions and well, this is, what I've got. Any help would be appriciated, and I hope I will be unbanned there  Well, before being unbanned, I'll try to fix that issue myself.

Hello all,I've been playing Cosmic and so far, I love it! I'm at level 105.I've been having a strange issue and wondering if others have seen this.This has to do with hauling asteroids. Here's what happens:1. I take my hauler and jump to a sector, lets say 23.2. I use the gravjump to get me out of the sector into uncharted space. I don't have warp yet.3. I scan for a field, then set my course to the lowest coordinate in the field.4. I locate an asteroid, then land on it, anchor, then launch again.5. Here's where things get weird! I leave the field, either with the field command or my amu. I've also tried setting course to 0 0 -50 for the nearest beacon.6. When my ship enters the charted sector, my ship gets stuck. My coordinates don't move, and trying to use any manual movement commands gives me a traceback. Setting speed doesn't help. The only way out of this seems to be by warp. I
  don't have enough skill to use warp yet. A host needed to do it. The other thing is that the asteroid seems to have disappeared. Scanning for asteroids doesn't show anything. I can't gravjump since the game says I'm hauling.Sorry for the long-winded post. I wanted to give as much detail as possible, since others don't seem to be seeing this.Any ideas?Great work on the game!

In the case of the blueprints, I better get me a huge frame made. I would like to build myself a yot of all things. I think a ship with sleeping rooms for a few of my friends plus sound proofing of the living compartments would make things interesting. A question for everyone else on here. What is the best way for someone at the rank of 769 to gain in levels. At this time, it takes alot of missions and or planetoids to gain a level. Then again, going after gas for about two or so hours seems to raze me about three levels. I would try stars if I knew that they were a good choice. The problem for me there, is figureing out the whole timeing thing. I know I want to get close enough that the grav of the sun is pulling on me, but I also want to pull equally in the other direction and have heat shields up.

O am sorry that vipmud stopped working on your PC Luciana. I think you might like some of the things that came about. dardar, I do not know about you, but the release of the Premium Miner prove to be worth while to me. It is making the collection of some of the resources I wish to collect alot easyer. Did I just say that? I guess that would be a a mistake on my part seeing that something will most likely happen to make it harder again, like maybe raise the amount of said resources required for some of the things I wish to make. I did buy a player made mod that I installed for this ship and cargo space I have makes the collection of minerals a bit easyer. I do find it interesting how each of the different players seemed to have worked themselves into a slot. Some sell one thing while others sell something else. It all seems to work out somehow and that is one thing I like about this mud. The power play like there is on other muds do not seem to be there or not all that bad. There i
 s even a place selling tacticle areys and someone else have been giving them away too. Plus the rift satelites and the weapons along with the different places to get drinks and food. I personally have been running some missions of late and sort of found them fun in away.

As for the creative bit, I am currently setting out sofas and the like to try to make my factory look like it could be upgraded to a star base or spacestation. Yes, I am trying to come up with a good RP area for pilots to come around and relax watching TV, spinning a wheel and playing dartboard. To say that I am laying out part of my factory for time wasters is a bit of a under statement. Now if I can get all of my descriptions wrote and in place, that would be a major plus. I am letting another player come up with the descriptions, but if they do not get done with them, I will have to find someone else to finish the job. Nothing aginst them of course. The funny thing is, they have a good idea of what kind of thing I am looking for when it comes to descriptions, but getting across the fact that I want others coming out asap just to have a look around and hang out is something I am hoping for... Anyway, I might deside to use the factory as a plot line, but I may deside not. It all 
 depends on rather or not I am planning on doing something crazy that requires me to have a base to run off to or not. LOL.

Bringing you skill authorisation! Skill authorisation is not as daunting as it sounds, so here me out on this one. A skill authorisation level is literally, a number, that a skill is categorised into. Ground combat, for example, is authorisation 1, while misc skills are authorisation 6. Authorisation really, is not the right word for it, but I couldn't think of anything else. So, what does this mean for you players? 1. Info no longer shows the skill timer. 2. Train-time has been changed slightly, but most importantly, 3. skills from different categories have their own independent timer! You heard me, folks! LEts say you wanted to raise ship weaponry, and ground combat, on the old system, you'd have to choose, and wait an hour for it to reset, by which time, the events over and there'
 ;s no point. But seeing as ground combat is auth 1, and starship weaponry is auth 3, you now can. Nice from what I have seen. I have been watching from the side. I have also been handing out tacticle areys. Anyway, I have a suggestion or two when it comes to tacticle areys after I have been playing with it a little bit. I am wondering what the thoughts of others are on these suggestions. What have I missed.Now for my suggestion and or suggestions.Why not have ships with tacticle areys link those areys with a factory. Sort of giving each factory a bit of a fleet almost. Maybe each factory's owner may want to make sure that the sector of and in self is clear alonng with handleing debris runs and the likes.Also, why not allow aircraft get linked to shipsthat have tacticle areys. My think here is that pilots may wish to run fleets of these off of their ships. Then again, pilot may have someone launch aircraft from their ship and then launch to clearsector and or destract the fo while the aircraft come up from behind.You could also have tacticle alerts 
 sent to all ships with these installed if needed.Anyway, what have I missed?

I have a question. How do you move a Mutariansi ship that you bought when you do not have the correct upgrade? Putting on the spacesuit does not help you at all. For some reason, I thought a spacesuit would help you survive a Mutariansi ship, but I am clearly wrong.

I have a rant to make about Moo in general, but it also concerns this game.If a player, or any object in Moo terms, happens to be in an area when changes are made and the area is re-compiled or copied, the old, generic copy of that area is saved. I guess CR uses these generic areas to say, build any Beacon Station and add names etc to it later.They made changes to Omicron station to re-add Hannah, which I was there for. I happened to be sleeping on the station.When I logged back in, I was in a generric Ommicron, with my ship nowhere to be found... because it's on the correct, changed Ommicron.So, is there a way to fix this? Despite Kayla being on--she was the only admin, no others were on during my assist. Kayla was not idol, so I suppose she was coding and didn't see that there was an assist, but situations like this irk me.I'll log on once again and see if maybe someone else is on.

370. Yeah you know that I did that, but the players have theyr own life. they cant be around all the time, and they would rather play than writing descriptions for others. Very well said, dear. we need a way to make the ones who aren't natives to get the fullest experience of the game.  The game is great, but the restrictions that are in place because of the descriptions put a barrier for the ones who aren't good at describing. all in all, I love cosmic rage, it will always have a special place  in my heart. 369.that can work yes.actualy it works, my girlfriend did that, but it doesn't work all the time.the thing with depending on another player to do the work is the fact that they could, for some reason, be unable to connect to the game for some time, for whatever reason, then you're stuck.considering this i would agree that a mix between my idea and yours would be the best option, a way for us to set up a basic description using menu choices, with the option to change the description later if we can come up with something, or find someone to do them for us

367. I have an idea that could help out if the hosts will permit it. This might work for the short term. Would the hosts allow us to ask for painters over the comms and the like? Painters would be responsible for coming in and writing up descriptions for different rooms for those who, for whatever reason, are not good at writing descriptions. There could be an option on the info computer for known good  painters, as in people who are known for writing good descriptions. Of course, said people would have to be paid and will need access to the place in question. Of course, placing an ad might help in this case too.

hey everyone!i went through the same problems s post 358.i mean, i didn't got any warnings, but it was still frustrating.the main problem here is that we and i'm talking about everyone in general, shouldn't be forced to write descriptions to advance our factory for the next rank, for example.it isn't fair, even less so for the ones like me, and @358, that are not native english speakers.i'm not sure if i, or someone else suggested it, but what would be really nice for the ones like snow, that have problems with the language,would be a system to only change, through the use of menus, color, materials and decorations, for a room.how i see it, every factory room would have it's own default, standard description. then, when you build it instead of entering a description, one would just adjust the colors, materials and etc.We would need a new factory advancement method, but it would fix the descriptions probl

I actually gave that a try when I saw size of soundpack archive folder was so small, since I've not updated the soundpack folder for quite some time it's great to get all the new sounds, though I'm not getting any planetary mmusic on sahareana as yet, I believe music is on since I didn't turn it off to my knolidge, though whether all the planets have music I don't know.

@dark you can ignore those .sync files, they're configuration files for bT sync, and since it was mentioned that the dropbox is the same as the BT sync pack, then those files jump along for the ride. Installation should remain the same, ignoring the sync files@Orin the newest version is accessible, you'll want to check the box that says install as windows service, but once you do that, you can control it from any browser. I don't like it though, it uses massive amounts of RAM. This was the case on my desktop, and its not any different on the laptop. Also it holds the CPU about 60%.

One Miner issue I'm having with updating the soundpack is knowing what to put where. Previously there was just a folder called cosmic rage and a folder called sounds and it was fairly obviouswhat to put where, but now there is something  sinkarchive which also has folders  for cosmic rage and sounds, and something called sink id and sink ignore as well and i'm not sure which folders I need or which are the updated ones, indeed I don't why exactly there are sink folders in the soundpack folder.

You will require to take the exam in order to buy ships above level 100, but the best thing is that you can take it as many times as you like. so after following this thread for a little while, I decided to try out the game a few days ago.  I'm not really noticing these balancing issues you all are talking about.One thing I've noticed is that you all seem to only be discussing human ships.  If you train up your race skill, you should be able to purchase ships of any race.  Each race's ships are different.  For example, Mutariansi ships have cloaks relatively early on, whereas going by your conversation, human ships don't seem to have cloaking technology till later on.So perhaps what you should do is look at the ships of other races and go from there.  One of them may just have what you need.I hope this helps.

Well just as an extention to the above winjing, I am very pleased that now asteroid fields are easier to find, at least last time I looked I found one no problem. I did run into something of an odd situation snice I decided to try illiminating the enemy first, but didn't have enough scan to actually get their positional information, likewise I'd missed a harvesting upgrade, but we'll see how things go once I've bought those.I do wish there were better weapons on the hauler, or that another ship with a cloak was available since it really does seem the cloak is %100 necessary for survival, on the other hand if I can grind away a vacus warship with my pee shooter from hiding and then be free to haul it might work out okay.

Well I do hope the game gets rebalanced here since this is actually discouraging me from playing as right now it seems the only space activities I can do with any sort of reliability are salvaging, passenger transport and orbit cleaning, which are all very well but pretty boring if that is all I can do until I hit level 300 or so and have a ship with fast enough warp to find those sodding meteors or high enough defenses to survive in asteroid fields (assuming I find the dam asteroid fields in the first place).

Yes, some work needs doing, but I really do not what to tell you. Only other thing I would suggest is to upgrade your weapon range, but I am not to sure how good that would be for you seeing that you had problems with the combat drones. Last month or so, I took my heavy miner into a planetoid field to blow up a few planetoids only to limp back on warp to abattle station to repair a hull breach, a completely destroyed engine, and a completely destroyed landing gear. Now days, I take my star blazer out to planetoid fields simplely because of cloak and the weapons. Of course, that ship has good shields and good armor on it. I agree with you, some adjustment needs doing.

I have the autostop set for fields since I already lost about five haulers through hitting nebula fields by mistake. I'll try combat drones though last time I checked they were pretty useless, indeed even with the cloak, last asteroid field I was in I target an of the enemy ships since I was told they were too far away whejn I tried ec, thoug I suppose a direct scan might have worked. Really though how come there is only one ship with a cloak? heck the help file suggests a frigate for harvesting but when I tried a frigate I died in seconds due to not having a cloak. and come most ships don't have weapons anyway? hell I have weaponry skill max for my level at 4.5 but none of the ships I've seen have any weapons anyway other than beam cannons and lasers  oh and misisles in the secondary control room which means I can't use them anyway. methinks there really! needs to be some balance here, especially in terms of what activities are recommen
 ded when and what ships are available, not to mention the necessity of the cloak. I also don't like the fact that basically if I do get a ship destroyed I have to spend bloody ages running around buying a bunch of upgrades from a hole lot of different shops just to try something again! And of course all this assumes I can find! an asteroid in the first place since hell there seem barely any of the things out there!

I know that when I hauled asteroids for the first time, it was roughly a month or two after the game went live. It was not a big deal at the time. My biggest guess was that they up the difficulty some sense then. I used to be able to enter a planetoid field and not have to worry about being shot at. Now days, I am shot at every time I entered. See if you can get your sensor range upgraded. Getting your shields and defensive armor upgraded as far as you can may also be useful, but get some combat drones seeing that they are clearly a must now. I totally forgot that the asteroid hauler has a drone bay. I suggest you use it. That should help out a bunch until you can get the better upgrades. You should launch the drones as soon as you enter the field sense you are getting shot at. You should also adjust the autostop thing so that it only stops for asteroid fields. That should help keep you out of unwanted fields. Trust me, there is some fields that you do not want to enter without he
 at shields. Anyway, get some combat drones as soon as you can. I do not know how much they will help, but they are about the best weapon the hauler has as far as I recall.

I can't use blades yet, and anyway I have no idea where to get blades. If you need all these high level combat upgrades that you can't have, why are activities like asteroid hauling and mining recommended at lower levels anyway? hell, why is the only ship with survival value ie the only one with a cloak the asteroid hauler which only has two practically usable weapons? This is aside from the fact that the asteroid fields aren't showing up in the first place meaning as I said I'm basically spending hours flying around with nothing to do, then getting the hell blown out of me in five minutes when I do! find an asteroid field. I've really enjoyed cosmic rage up to now, but this state is very much putting me off the game since basically it seems that to do anything in space with survival value you need upgrades at much higher levels, which means another fifty or a hundred levels worth of passenger runs and building material deliveries.

As for asteroids dark, you need to take care of a few things first. install blades and make them as long as you can. install the defensive armor upgrade to as high as you can. Do the same for your shields. Also, boost your weapon range to as high as you can plus you should throw in any weapons you can. Also, the fewer cargo bays you have the better. You see, the more cargo bays you have, the worse the ship attacks will be. I, myself, have found that hauling asteroids are not really worthwhile, but mining them can be. You really should be running in to less trouble with asteroids than planetoids, but that does not always happen, I guess. As for planetoids, I enjoy blowing them up myself for the simple reason of getting the points and the bricks. If you are going into mining, I have found that planetoids are worth more seeing that they have more to offer. That of in itself is another reason I really do not worry about asteroids. Of course, I have gotten into the habit of launching a
 ll of my mining drones on to a planetoid and leaving. I figure that within a few mins, I will have a lot more than I would have if I just sat there and used my ship to do the mining. As for the meteors, I have not really bothered. Just does not really seem worthwhile to me. You do got warp installed on your ship? As for blades themselves, you are talking about useful. All you do there is extend them and then you fly by any ship you wish to destroy at warp speed and watch the fun happen. Now warp, I have my warp skill maxed out. It takes me just a little over 7 mins from the planet in sector 5 to get to my factory at max warp and my factory is out in uninhabited space.

eOkay I confess I'm getting a little fedup with cosmic rage at the moment, indeed that is one reason I'm playing less. I'm thus at the moment spending lots of time basically twiddling my thumbs waiting to find some bloody asteroids and not finding any! and frankly this is discouraging me from playing since I just feel I'm not making any progress here.Edit: Okay oh great! found a sodding asteroid field and for the second time, when I decloak to haul an asteroid I get shot at and my defensive armour gets literally blown to hell in seconds! this time at least I didn't lose the hauler, however now it means a half hour flight back to a beacon, then god knows how long finding more asteroids, only for the same thing to probably happen again. I confess II'm getting rather fedup with cosmic rage at this point, it seems I can't actually do any different activities at all. It
 39;s not the cash cost, it is the amount of time with zero progress and then boom! I get asteroid hauling or harvesting is supposed to be risky, but t to take literally hours! finding! the sodding asteroid fields, only one ship that can even go in there because of the cloak, and no way to actually survive once I'm there is just plane annoying! I would suggest firstly, combat in asteroid fields actually be made possible, I don't know whether  this would be by making the fighters less powerful or more spread out, or hell just having them possible to target. I would then really! suggest more sodding asteroids!

@cw, missions are not too bad, or at least not the ones I've seen, basically go to an area of space and blow up some ships. thus far how well I've done at combat has depended entirely on whether enemies can see through my cloak or not, indeed it is sort of ironic that for this reason the only decent ship I've found at combat thus far is the asteroid hauler.

Well I confess I'm a little stuck at the moment since my ship can't take off . it seems to be perminantly recharging and won't move.I also wonder what happens to the ships I've had destroyed by fire and if I can get rid of them. I tried selling them but that hasn't helped, and since they're no use to ahyone (being just airlocks), they probably should be deleted from the game.

Does anyone have any good tips for doing star studies. I am a bit worry that I will not get my right course set and warp engaged before the star pulls me in. From what I understand, by reading the help files, time is short for getting things right. Then again, I have not done missions either. Yes, I blone up a few ships and got blueprints from them, but I might find it intereing to lead a mission or two. I got to where I am at by blow up lots and lots of planetoids. Of course, dragging my factory through a field put an end to that for awhile. As a side note, I should beable to make metal pannels for those who wish to build their own factory without killing lots of mobs on those planetoids.

Able to be erected in any outside area and very customizable, these should make camping much more enjoyable for those of you who like that kind of thing. I have done some reforms and what not, and now bring you the following changes: 1. ADdition of a shopping village. There is now, on the southwest landing strip, a shopping villgae, made up of many paths and squares, this village pretty much replaces the top floor of the shopping plaza and allows for greater expansion in the future for places to put shops! 2. ADdition of a harmonian village, showing where the natives live. 3. made the shopping plaza top floor shorter. 4. added a train! 5. added a beauty shopping center, where: 5.a, humans can get their hair cut. 5.b humans can get their hair color changed. 5.c, humans can get their

hey there NathanI haven't check the reward of the harvesting yet, but could you increes the points too? , I a little bit feel frustated because of I spend hours and hours harvesting, but got a really small points reward.and yeah, mission need to be more  reward balance too, I don't really care about cash these days, though. oh yeah, did you change the amount of points if you destroyed an interseptor droid? , it was 17mil per destroy, but now it is 5000 points, or something like that...

hello folksFirst, no, the game does not currently have a mush pack, something that annoys me greatly.n8: hello folks! I have just introduced some much needed changes to harvesting. 1. Balancing. The number of cargo bays now affects certain conditions about your ship as show in the table below: 1 cargo bay: you must turn off evasive mode while harvesting. Two cargo bays: your shields must be offline, giving drones ample room to move. 3 cargo bays,,, your cloak must be offline, so the ship is not wasting power. 5 or more cargo bays, heavier, warship-type ships will enter the field, rather than the easy scavenger ships. 2. Boring! Instead of you just typing harvest and sitting there, there is now a random chance during harvesting that your cargo bay may take damage. It is very rarely this will happen, but it can have some negative effects when it does, see shelp cargo damage. 3. Cash! I have increased the cash payout for minerals by a notch or 10, so we'll see

the new race sounds cool!  I'll need to update the audiogames.net db entry to reflect them I think.I need to get back to cosmic rage now I've installed vipmud on this machine, it's just sorting out my ship will be a pest . I also wonder if any thought has gone into plans for lower level crafts. the crafts themselves are cool, but it's a shame you can't bennifit from them since in a universe of high tech mass produced goods I would've thought hand made items would be quite valuable. it'd be great if say for example the cy-larken were looking for such items and would reward you for bringing them. Either with points or cash, or better still with say a trade currency for some specific larken high tech devices and special bonuses.

Are factories made public when you buy them off of other players? I am trying to figure out why mine was public when i did not make it so. It's last owner had me aboard it to show me the factory before I bought it. Then they listed it for sell and sense I was there, I bought it. This other player had to dock to it before I bought it because of the public docking was not enabled. Just trying to make sure I have a full understanding how this works before I start complaining. if the fact that it went public when it went up for sell, then I really should not complain. I basicly do not want any other player aboard until I am done building it yes, I found out that it was public the hard way. Yes, I should had most likely check the settings afterwards, but I did not seeing that I thought they were set one way which they clearly was not. Big oops on my part.

Hello... Sorry but... Would it be possible to add some links or bt sinc key on (won't matter which) soundpack on your site in a dedicated section? I still can't download it using the link which someone posted here a while ago   And I'm not sure how can I get it though. So cause of that I've got a question... Well I've finally got off my rear and done a db page for cosmic rage, find it here  Actually this did take longer than I thought, partly because of the forum shenanigans, and partly because my wife and I were away staying with my parents up until last Sunday and like a dope I didn't take my partly done Cosmic rage entry with me to work on. Hi. I'd not seen the announcement, but the fields nearby sounds like a good thing. As for autostop, I don't tend to find that helps since mostly I slam into fields because I'm on course and have miscalculated where the field is, or because a new field has hove into scan range as I'm  trying to get to where I'm going, or, as on one notable occasion in my friggate, I was being chased by a hole bunch of vacus ships which I could do nothing about since I had no weapons or cloak or anything. Hopefully though the fields nearby will help clear this up though. I have one question about taking cover. Firstly,  can you take cover in mission rooms? If so, it might be a way to deal with those droids and their infinite stun ability. Secondly, I'll be interested to see if this also pressages my assassination missions idea coming into play.

Smugglings unbalanced, I wouldn't bother with it. The rewards are barely worth anything, and SDF members will always catch you, even if they're sitting on their asses in a completely different sector. They will then remove billions from you magically, the number of billions being directly proportional to how dickish they are feeling at that particular moment. I did write an extremely detailed ideas post on how the system could be made fairer, but alass... It was not to be.Edit:This was my experiences smuggling, circa november of last year. If there have been changes to the activity since then, the above might not be as accurate. It did happen, however.

hey guys, I want to ask, is there other ways peapols know that I smuggling?Note 1: Sometimes, planetary flight controls can se you smuggling, and will yell about it.Note 2: no matter what your pvp is set to, while smuggling, people are able to shoot you down.Note 3: If you scan a ship and it is smuggling, this information will show up at the bottom of the description.do SDF/host  members have his/her other way to discover if I smuggling?I asked this because I am keep getting cot by them, I already tryed a most sneaky trick but they still discover it...

Hi there darkNot sure if you saw, but here are two announcements that were made todaynate: as of player request, I have added a system called nearby field announcements. This system, as you go through space, announcements every 30 seconds if a field is nearby, and how close it is, providing it is less than 150 units from your ship. If it gets closer than 30 units, it announces every 5 minutes. This system can be toggled in the ships systems command, and is disabled by default.nate: hello folks! Just to make ground combat that little bit more interesting, you can now take cover in certain rooms! Cafes, shops, hangars, garages and landing pads currently offer objects for you to take cover behind. Taking cover means you dive behind something, using it for protection. It won't last long, so make sure you do what ever it is you need to do, and quickly! ATtacking something or leave the room causes you to break cover. To take cover, type take-c. Enjoy!also,
